I see all these reviews and they all have the same problem. Then I look under the review and see the “We tried to contact this reviewer but they didn’t answer” BS, don’t make and sell a product if you’re not going to give us the right size, we have been trying to get these tips to fit for the better part of an hour. Seems like you sold a

Pulled it out of the box brand new, and it won't even turn on. I can't even return it, as it was a Christmas gift. I'm hoping the company will want to make this right. Right now all I can say is don't waste your money.

Like most otger reviews, the tips that came with the kut don't even fit in like they're supposed to, meaning this product is unuseable. Stop selling it or make adjustments so that it can actually be used properly.

Like the other reviews, I can't insert the tips that came with the engraver to even use the product. They just don't fit where they are supposed to, making the thing unusable.

My parents and I spent the better half of a few hours trying to get this to work. The tips will go into the machine but they do not lock in. We watched the official instruction video and read the manual many times, so we know we were pressing and twisting the right things. Every tip that we would try would just fall out. No matter how many times we twisted the top left or right the tip just does not stay. I honestly thought spending $30 on a machine would mean it was a good product but I guess I'm wrong.

I recently purchased this tool. However, I can’t seem to get the engraving tip in. I follow all instructions it just doesn’t seem to fit.

For small family projects this has been a fun little tool. Currently I'm only sad that I can't find a replacement for the sanding band without buying a whole new kit.

You have to push that silver button in and then screw the top pointed part tight. People are not following directions- I will rate again after use

I bought this specifically to engrave on stone (as stated on your box). It can only be used for a short time. The engraver slowed down considerably after the first use. This means that means that I can get less done in the short time period I have to work between resting the tool. At the same store I got this from and found wireless rechargeable machine that does the same thing and more for just $10 more. I am extremely frustrated I thought Plaid was brand that I could trust.

Why Trust Verified Reviews?
Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
So, when searching for Verified Reviews, look for the name you know you can trust. Shopper Approved.
