I am using this feeder for a relatively small koi pond. It has worked flawlessly. I had to build my own insert to cut down on the volume of food being dispersed as even one second produces more food than is required for my pond. That is not a flaw of the feeder but rather a reflection of my having a need for a smaller amount. My insert would never be as well designed as the makers' of this unit could do, so it might be worth their effort to create that kind of insert as an optional accessory, and that could open up the market for smaller pond users who want the quality and reliability of the Texas Hunter product.

Shut off the feeding when water temp dropped back in late november and stored the unit inside our equipment shed with no light. Started feeding again February 24th. Battery was still fully charged after 90 days in the dark.

The boat overall is probably the best 2 man boat i have ever owned or fished out of. Its one piece construction verses all the two piece models out there is a big plus because it does not allow water to get inside the pontoons. The boat is roomy for the most part and very stable when moving around on the water. The only problems i have had with my Bass Hunter is the hardware under the swivel seats tend to hang up when turning and i have had trouble getting my numbers to stay on the boat maybe due to its somewhat ruff texture. Overall though its worth the money and a boat that is built to last. Thanks, Fred

I tried other feeders and for my money the Texas Hunter is the only way to go. Fill it set the timer and it will do the rest . I would recommend this product to anyone .

This thing is a tank. A little heavy for one person to get in and out of a truck but do-able. I use a converted jet-ski trailer and I am in or out of water in a couple of minutes. I really love the stability of this boat. I never use the seats, just fish standing and it is very stable.

Great purchase. There was a slight problem with first boat that I received. Someone came to my house to pick it up and a new one was on its way the same day I reported the problem. Love the boat.

This feeder has been great i had tried two others and neither lasted more than a year this one has been in the field for over a year and works great. all of the food goes in the pond no mess around it for birds or other critters to get to and make a mess.

More expensive than some but its been thru a flood and still functions great. You get what you pay for. Only slight problem I had was front sight window evidently not sealed good . Fixed with silicon and no more leaks . Good distance a spread on broadcast. Fish and I are happy. Menu setup is very easy.
