Raccoons are still getting to the spinner plate and going through a lot of corn. Not raccoon-proof. That's why I purchased this feeder. Also, the battery was dead and tried to contact you. No results.

So far, this is working out great keeping the critters out and keeps them from chewing holes in this feeder. I can see paw prints in the corn dust from where they were trying to reach the corn near the spinner but couldn’t.

I’ve purchased 3 other feeders that have ended up in the dump because raccoons & squirrels destroyed them. This one is made to avoid that. Whoever designed it has actually used feeders and thought of everything. Strong metal construction and carefully placed latches and screen is keeping out the critters. Pay the extra, it’s worth every penny.

Feeder was not well packaged.Had a few dings and scratch’s due to shipping.Miner hardware missing and a rivet in the main body of feeder.Easy assembly for one person but awkward to move by yourself.Have not placed into service yet but seems well made.Time will tell .
