Not sure I am okay with it being made of cold-rolled steel. I suspect it may warp when heat is applied to it repeatedly. Would prefer it cast constructed. Time and usage will tell.

The supporting ring for the grate was not built as shown in the photo. The photo has a much larger flange beyond the locating rib on the bottom side. I had a custom steel liner created for the firepit that was sized to accept that center rib with larger flange. The center rib (no longer a rib but a large welded plate) was correctly sized (diameter) but the flange barely covered the liner opening (because it is smaller). I was able to modify the liner to accommodate the difference. Changes were made from what was shown in the photos that made what should have been a perfect assembly to something less.
