I have had this (and the lid) for almost 4 years and it has held up beautifully. I am extremely happy with this purchase and look forward to many more great times around the fire pit. For what it's worth, I do have a cover for it whenever it is not in use. I don't know if that makes a difference in its appearance though I am sure it does not matter for its durability.

I had been in search of a fire pit since 2021 when I bought my house, and discovered Ohio Flame through Woodland Direct. I didn't realize how expensive pits were so I put the purchase on hold. With a patio redesign project about to kick off, I restarted the search and I was impressed by the design (simple, communal for gatherings, and good height) as it will fit with the redesign, it has a drain hole, and quality (it's heavy). Ohio Flame was fast in delivery and very tight packaging - no issues. The only reason for a 4 is that it rusts fast (see photos). I hadn't had the opportunity to use it yet and placed it outside upon retrieval, and within 4 days, it already had patina and left a stain on asphalt area so had to move it to the grass. Note: I don't mind patina, was taken aback on how quickly it changed unsure if it's due to the sealant? I had planned to purchase another one during Mass tax free weekend since the goal was always to have 2. Just debating if to stick to this one or purchase another brand. I would recommend buying just make sure to keep it covered at ALL times, have been using an extra canopy (UVA resistant fabric) to shelter it.

Easy to navigate with useful description of the items and photos to help visualize it in your space. I've been looking for firepit since 2021 and this site has been one of the best I encountered.
