I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and struggle with my mobility when it comes to longer distances. This product has given me my life back. I have been unable to go hiking (or many other long-distance activities) for years, and these not only gave me the added stability to be able to go hiking, but they're lightweight and comfortable to use! Pros: - lightweight - very adjustable - sturdy Cons: - may bruise your forearms where the arm straps sit (this may be EDS specific) - the refurbished pair I received was super dusty (but it was easy to clean them!)

The website is accessible. The videos were a bit confusing at first but after re-watching, they were easy and helpful!

My physical therapist was unfamiliar with these but has been very impressed with how they help me safely maneuver over rough ground and in my barn. She said I should make a video to send you!

i called with a question which was quickly and thoughtfully answered. I received my M+D crutches within a few days and with the help of my daughter in law easily assembled them. I practiced as is recommended and also had a session getting accustomed to them with my physical therapist. I am VERY excited that I can use them to walk over very rough ground.

have them for just five days, bought because my home hallway is narrow and arm pits hurt with standard hospital issued crutches. So far two for two, no arm pit pinch and can move around home, with much more comfort. learning curve hasn't been an issue for me, I'm in my late fifties, with good upper body strength. I well probably be on crutches for next 6 months, trying to avoid getting knee replacement. If anything comes up I well update. Combo stix might be a consideration, to use as cane or just a change of position. So far I'm happy with purchase. Very sturdy and received within a week Thank you, this helped moving around with confidence

received within a week, so far so good

I'm still only using around the house and in the yard. I can tell a big difference with support in my knees and back, also balance! Using does take core strength, which is perfect, an area I needed to work on. The whole point for me getting these is to be more mobile for longer periods of time due to neuropathy. My first goal is build myself up to a mile of walking, without 3 days of recovery. Are there exercises based around these crutches? Something to think about...

Now I’ve got to degrade enough to use these.

Disappointed...cumbersome to use...need more time in use to get adjusted to using them...top heavy...difficult to carry items with...with regular under the arm crutches i can easily carry cups, plates, etc ...the MD crutches are difficult in carrying items.

Very hard to get used to.

Shipping was quick. The crutches are very sturdy and look nice, but they are hard to get used to and feel wobbly at first.

Jerred H - 08/05/2021
I’m still getting used to them but when I do I think they’ll work out better than I expected

l enjoyed the videos l was in a severe car accident 4 years ago l am hoping this will help my mobility

It’s much better than regular crutches, I broke both of my wrists really bad in a car accident a cpl years ago and I can’t use regular ones. I was then given a cane much like these to use. But I needed two to use since I just broke my foot. I feel like they took an honest look at all the things that were wrong about the style (of the cane like it I used style) and tried to fix all of the things that cld be improved upon. I wish the pole was just a tad closer to the forearm side than the elbow side (because I think it would give ur balance more stability) but everyone is shaped differently and if that’s the only thing I cld think of that I wld do different, I think it’s doing pretty good. Someone put a lot of thought and effort into making life easier for people who need to use them. Thank you for that! I wld highly recommend using these. I wish insurance wld pay for these like they do regular crutches. If you need to use any I would recommend these to anyone. It will make your life a lot easier.. ❤️

Easy order. I broke both of my wrists and hand in a wreck not too too long ago and recently broke my foot and regular crutches cause a lot of pain in my wrists so I'm hoping these will help me get around and do things I need to do daily.

I'm so grateful for M+D Crutches that allow for my mobility and independence. It allows me to smile when people stare, ask questions, lose patience with my slow walking speed, etc. Mobility is gift! From a trip to the bathroom to an exotic destination vacation.
Why Trust Verified Reviews?
Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
So, when searching for Verified Reviews, look for the name you know you can trust. Shopper Approved.
