We called early this morning to request that a plumber come out to fix what is a pretty urgent problem; our toilet(s) is backed up and waste is coming up through the bathtub drain. We were told someone would be out this afternoon. However, at around 4:00 pm, we were told that the truck needed to work on our house had broken down, though someone could come out as late as 9:30 tonight. Desperate for help, and hoping that we would still be able to fix this urgent problem before the end of the night, we agreed. However, at 9:45, after hearing nothing and still being unable to use any of the sinks, toilets, or showers in our house, we called the plumber directly and he said he wouldn't actually be able to come. This is totally unacceptable and terrible customer service. If we had been told earlier in the day, we could have made arrangements for another plumber to come out, but about 10 pm, extremely expensive emergency fees apply, and plumber availability is scarce. It seemed as though if we hadn't called him, he wouldn't even have informed us that he wasn't coming. He didn't apologize either. We are NEVER calling Michael & Sons for any of our home needs again.
