This was the second one of these that I purchased. I thought the problems with the first one were just a fluke so I purchased a second one. These things are absolute junk. After a very short amount of time they start becoming very noisy when you turn the volume controls and when you turn one it effects the volume of the other. For the price they charge for this, it should be of a much, much higher quality.

It works well for sound bite interviews and I've used it for background highlights. It's light & flimsy but mine has survived several airports/planes and road trips. And if it gets run over, or dropped off a cliff, you won't mind. You'll probably go get another.

This is a reasonable product for the price. It holds 12 mics, but the insert sleeves are cut for the barrels of the mic's and not for the 2" wind screen. When you fill the case, it's kinda hard to zip the cover closed. I wish they had drilled the insert sleeves to fit the wind screens. It was a good investment even with the minor draw back. It allowed me to illuminate 4 carrying cases.
