The problem with this product, like the problem with many products, is that over time the manufacturers continue to reduce the quality. You notice this when you go to the next roll. Just not as thick, and more important NOT AS STRONG !

A top quality Gaffer's tape. Sticks well to just about every surface, and comes up cleanly. It is may be a little difficult to get off the roll, but for the most important quality - the ability to stick where placed, it is among the very best.

I use TecNec Gaffers Tape for just about everything. In my studio it secures backgrounds, wrangles cables and tears nicely to spike the setup. It's flexible, strong and doesn't leave residue when removed in a timely manner. I have used the neon tape to dress-up props, and black to hide hardware or other objects I don't want visible in the shot. My assistant tears off a few thin strips and has them ready on a light stand so we can quickly change shots without fighting with "no-name" tape and scissors. Time is money. TecNec Gaffers Tape isn't just for the studio though, I've given several rolls to my parents, my wife and teenage daughter. Their uses range from hanging pictures or posters, marking storage totes, and keeping out the draft from around their windows. My daughter even uses it to mend her binders for school, which always take a beating. The fairing on my sport bike was secured with a strip for nearly a decade, and I also find it works great as an extra set of hands. TecNec Gaffers Tape is the most versatile product I've purchased and use on a regular basis. Keep a few rolls around and you will not be disappointed!

I use it to tape down temporary wiring at broadcast remotes. It sticks well and leaves no residue after removal. Clients are very happy to see well protected wires, no trips or falls due to loose wires. Doesn't remove finish from painted walls or woodwork.
