I’m still pretty new to turntable tech, but needed a new cartridge as I basically destroyed the stock one on my LP120 by accident. The Vessel is a bit pricey (but also relatively cheap from what I’ve learned of this stuff), but well worth the price. It sounds fantastic, even on an entry level table. I found this after searching through google and going through a few people on YouTube. The extra dosh to have it premounted on the head shell saved me the trouble of trying to do it myself without the correct tools. Shipping was faster than LPG made it seem and installation was quick and painless.

The sound is great but beware it is only 3mV so it will be quite on many AVR phono stages. I believe this cart would sound best on a class A/B amplifier or paired with its own phono preamp.

Big improvement over old stock needle on audiotechnica table. Most old albums don't skip or hiss. Love it. Just screw it in. Worth extra money for shell.

This cartridge sounds absolutely magnificent for the price. I replaced the stock head shell and cartridge on my A-T table with The Vessel A3SE, and I am extremely pleased with it.
