I bought this stylus for my m97xe cartridge, mainly because the stabilizer brush is really good for warped records. I like the sound of it better than my Audio Technica VM95sh. I was very surprised at the difference between this and the stock cartridge.

I bought one a few years ago, and accidentally broke it. I tried a few other cartridges before I decided to get a replacement. I forgot how good it sounded.

They have a great selection. I made my first purchase from them about 20 years ago, before the vinyl revival. So, there was quite a lot of time until I made my next purchase. I have been happy with all of the items I have purchased, which have mainly been LP Gear upgraded styli.

I wasn’t sure to buy this replacement stylus. Especially upgrading to the vivid stylus. I am extremely happy i did! This stylus is a great replacement for my original stylus. I have only used it for about 5 hours so far but I believe it could be better than the original when it is broken in. I highly recommend this as a replacement. The only negative is that i bought the original cartridge for 70.00!

Sounds great, really filled out both bass and treble frequencies for my system when compared to the stock stylus. If you're researching LP Gear products because you're thinking about buying, just go for it, this stylus may even be better than the Jico SAS, if not it's definitely close.

Wanted to get an upgrade and a backup cartridge at a fair price, and had heard about LP Gear (and LP Tunes). Going into it, didn't think that everything I bought was going to end up being the LP Gear brand, but that's what happened! Read reviews on the stuff I was looking at, done my research as I usually do, and I couldn't be happier, everything I ended up with is actually an upgrade from original styli and cartridges. Thanks!

It arrived promptly and packed safely. Right after I ordered it, I discovered I didn't need a new stylus - I just had to clean my existing one better. :-) But one day I'll need this one from LP Gear and so I'm glad it's here.

I was shocked to find out the stylus for my cartridge is no longer produced. Fortunately Shure Pointed me in the direction of LP Gear. I was also shocked at the prices. I haven't yet changed the stylus so I can't comment on quality, comparative or otherwise. This was strictly an insurance purchase.

I decided to try one of these on my m97xe which I recently mounted to a Technics 1200 MK2, and I can say WOW! Major improvement in sound with clear trebles and much improved bass response compared to the original stylus. I used to have to turn the bass and treble way up on my amp when playing a record but now the sound is nice and natural and truly balanced. Highly recommended!

This is a great upgrade stylus. I have always loved the sound of this cart, but hated how it picked up every flaw in the record. This stylus drastically reduces the surface noise while delivering amazing clarity and great sound. If you are sitting on the fence about this stylus like I was I can tell you that you will not regret the investment.

This stylus is now installed in a new Shure M97X. This stylus seems to capture a crisper sound than the standard Shure stylus. I'm very pleased with this combination.
