I installed this cartridge in an old Dual 1237 turntable, replacing an Ortofon Om 10 MM cartridge. I am feeding the output of the turntable into an iFi Zen phono preamp, using the MM setting, then into a PrimaLuna tube amp powering Klipsch Chorus speakers. (I tried the MC setting on the preamp, but I heard a low frequency hum even with no music playing. I assume the output of the cartridge was overloading the MC preamp.) I am hearing much more detail in the music, with a sense of additional space between the notes. I assumed the improvement in sound would primarily be in the high end of the acoustic spectrum, but I was surprised to hear more pop in the bass, such as the initial thump of the footpedal into the bass drum. I am spending way too much time listening to my favorite LP's all over again, upsetting she how must be obeyed who thinks I should do other things with my life.

I put this on a Scout 2.1 to replace catridges costing much more. Once it's set up right it is outstsnding. I needed to use head weight to get it to track right, but once you have it right it is wonderful.
