Great value for an automatic 3-time zone GMT watch. Yes, Seiko has made the 4R34 available to micros as the NH-34, but so far in my opinion, the original from Seiko is still the best package. A 4-hand GMT with 3 time zones and a 24-hour bezel is busy, and the 42.5mm case diameter is big enough to accommodate all that without crowding, but not too big. I like the friction bezel, although some reviewers disagree. The lume is great, and the bracelet is comfortable for all-day wear. As always, Marc's team is excellent, and the Memorial Day sale didn't hurt one bit.

A GMT priced well under $1k, made by one of the most important watchmakers in history, powered by a movement that’s made in-house, what’s not to like? The Seiko 5 Sports GMT is a celebrated timepiece, and it’s easy to see why. Sure there are design elements from a certain other brand, but it still stands its ground, as it has its own, uniquely Seiko DNA. The star of the show, the Calibre 4R34, is rock solid. It stays well within its promised tolerances, and runs smoothly. Sure it isn’t highly decorated, but it doesn’t lack anything either. I won’t go in to measurements as they can be looked up in a snap; but the dimensions of the watch should cater to a wide range of wrist sizes. It fits my 7.25 inch wrist comfortably, and has a nice wrist presence. The Batman bezel, and rich blue dial blend together to bring a visually pleasing combo, while that bold red GMT hand makes a confident statement. The applied indeces aren’t diminutive at all, and add to the character of this timepiece. The jubilee style bracelet looks fantastic, adjusts easily, and wears comfortably. I also appreciate how it dresses up the watch a bit, but can easily be casual when it needs to be. A couple things I wish that could’ve been; a sapphire crystal, a milled clasp, and a screw down signed crown. I guess since those corners had to be cut, it has contributed to its appreciable affordability. Add everything up, it’s a watch of really good value, where the bang per buck ratio is in your favor; and one that can find a home in your watch collection effortlessly. I’m definitely happy to have mine, and I’m confident I’ll be enjoying my watch for years to come. Nothing but absolute thanks and respect to Marc, and the awesome people at Long Island Watches, for shipping out my order quickly, you guys are the best!

This is a beautiful watch by Seiko - and the blue/black color (blueberry or batman) was my choice! This was my first purchase from LongIslandWatch.Com - I am based in the UAE, and the package came in great condition, with labels and all relevant. So I highly recommend buying from Marc and LongIslandWatch.com :) My only dissatisfaction was that I purchased the watch on 26 December 2022 and got an estimated delivery time of 2 February 2023 - which I was okay with - only to receive it on the 11th of February. Another thing, on top of paying the shipment fees, I had to pay extra customs in the UAE - something I was not aware of. Apart from that - as mentioned above, highly recommended to buy the Seiko 5 GMT from a highly recommended online AD watch strore. Thank you Marc and the team

Highly recommended buying from longislandwatch.com - delivery took longer than the estimated delivery date by 10 days. Had to pay almost an extra USD 100 customs fee in the UAE to receive the item. I am falling in love with this watch more and more every day. I travel a lot and have been searching for the right affordable GMT. Dial is beautiful, overall the watch is very comfortable and looks great on the wrist. The only critique I have is, at 475.00 it should have a screw down crown and sapphire crystal. I am very happy with this purchase.
