Gorgeous... everything I expected. The sapphire bezel is just awesome. Pictures do not do justice to the color or the detail of the sunburst dial. Just buy one while you can! I added the J-style bracelet and think it really brings out the bling in this watch.

As usual... fast and easy ordering! I get quick responses when I ask questions and haven't had any issues with quality or service. I have made three purchases so far of three different watches (ISL-21., ISL-65 and Seiko Samurai) and two Islander bracelets. I'm happy with all of them and will be shopping here again.

It is a beautiful watch. But there are two major issues: 1. very difficult to wind the crown due to poor crown guard design. 2. get finger cut on bracelet end link to watch case joint due to very sharp metal edges on bracelet end links. The watch accuracy is around 11 sec faster per day in normal wear. It could be much better if the caliber can be fine tunned to better accuracy. Thanks.

Truthfully I was expecting a good watch, but the watch exceeded my expectations. Accurate to less than one second per day. This watch checks all the boxes at a very competitive price. I'll be back.

I bought this watch for my wife. When it arrived, I was amazed by the quality that you got for the price. Only one downfall (which really isn't a huge deal), was the underside of the bracelet that meets the watch, had some sharp edges that kinds dig into the skin. So I may change the bracelet. Other than that, the watch is a great purchase, and I will definitely be a regular customer to LIW.

Very pleased with colour of the dial and bezel having seen it up close. Very easy to size the bracelet with supplied screwdriver aswell. Hopefully not the last Islander watch I buy.

I have a couple much higher end watches however this has not left my wrist after receiving it early this month. Hard to find anything critical to say about it. Love the overall quality of not only the watch but the bracket as well. The lum is incredible. Not only much better than my others but still legible hours after lights out. Even in really morning light the dial is still legible with the contrasting dial color and hands. This was a problem with my previous every day watch as the silver hands were hard to see against the white dial in low light after the lum had faded. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting something they don’t have to baby as you go through the day. Well done Mark. It’s BETTER than I had imagined.

The ISL-21 came faster than advertised and is beautiful coming out of the box. The green dial and bezel really pop. The movement is a well-known workhorse for accuracy and reliability, so no worries there. The lume is impressive and at 38mm it is not an overwhelming presence on the wrist, but very comfortable. The bracelet had a surprising heft to it. Very solid and gives the feeling of really wearing a quality timepiece. Completely satisfied with purchase. Marc seems a really honest businessman and this product and ease of purchase reflect his concern with product and service.

This was my second Islander, as I was impressed by the first. I was interested in the color because I wear green alot, and the smaller size. I love dive watches but have often wished that they were more modest in size, so I thought this was worth a try. The reasonable price made the decision easy. After sizing up the bracelet I found it difficult to take off. I love the look and feel of it, with the weight imparting a sense of quality. The domed sapphire crystal is beautiful when reflecting light and provides minimal distortion, making legibility from all viewing angles excellent. The sapphire bezel insert is the icing on the cake, and the lume is very nice. The quality of the bracelet is excellent, and I appreciate the solid end links. This is the first time I bought a watch on a steel bracelet and didn't feel the need to replace it with something better. Very nice. I did, however, purchase an Islander rubber strap for it, just to have another option. But I definitely prefer the bracelet. Thanks, Marc and Long Island Watch! You people have really set a new standard in quality and service.

This is my first mechanical wrist watch, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but this watch absolutely exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. Couple things to note however: 1) the color is a lighter shade of green than the pictures here would have you think 2) you must threadlock the bobblehead screws after sizing. And don't forget the ones on the endlinks.

I replaced the sapphire insert with a ceramic one for the look I wanted. It was good before but perfect after. The case finishing and chapter ring alignment is punching way above its price point. I don't know if Mark has the movements regulated but mine is plus... nil? Basically unnoticeable. I'm satisfied to the point where I can say this is purchase one of many to come.

My "Mini Hulk" arrived yesterday. It arrived early, tracking was good. 0 complaints about delivery and ordering process, v smooth. Watch arrived with additional jubilee bracelet. Drilled lugs made it a dream swapping out straps/bracelets, v nice. I only had 1 question about the watch: should the winding mechanism disengage on screwing in the crown? (No, keeps winding btw) I received an answer within a couple of hours, v nice communication. Love my green Islander. Specs can't be ignored at this price, v good value.

This watch packs a huge punch for the price. You're getting a watch with much nicer parts than a Seiko in the same price range. Everything lines up, accuracy is decent and the lume is pretty good. You are also getting great customer service when you buy from this company. Some negatives: It seems like you can kind of see the adhesive strip through the sapphire bezel insert. Not a huge deal but it is noticeable. The watch also came with a big scratch across one of the endlinks BUT they are sending a replacement, so no big deal. Overall, this is a great watch that is currently stealing my attention away from a few more expensive pieces in my collection. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.
