This is the only chin rest I personally like and all of my students prefer it as well. No metal to bother their skin, the height isn’t too bad and it’s softer plastic than the hard wooden ones. They hold up well over time as well. We have been using these for years now.

This is the answer a problem that many players have when using baroque bows. Many models have plain round sticks making holding the bow not without issues because of the wood being slippery, resulting in a possible firmer grip than desired.

There are some items where it's very important to ensure you get precisely what you're looking for. Strings fall into that category. I was pleased by the information and variety of options JSI had on their site and confident to buy from them. Once the strings arrived--in sturdy packaging--I got them onto my instrument and started breaking them in. So far, I'm VERY pleased with how these strings sound. Describing specific qualities of sound with words is difficult, but I feel like these work really well with my instrument and I'm happy with the upgrade. Also, even after about a week under tension, they're still holding really well and have only needed minor adjustments.

Easy to find what I was looking for and I LOVE that you emailed my shopping cart to me. I haven't seen that feature before! It's so much better than having to try and remember everything and start over again. Shipping went well enough--it was my fault that I needed an expedited delivery and they made it happen! I was surprised by how difficult it was to find what seemed to be a reliable source for strings and then very happy to have found one!
