Best rosin I've ever used. Not just on my bow, it works on tuning pegs better than anything I have tried, and just had these new pegs put on in Nashville, but they would not hold a pitch, till now.

I was dismayed that the top surface was wavy and uneven. Two rosins I ordered have uneven surfaces. One wonders what the thinking is. A smoother surface looks neater and like it would offer easier rosining.

I'm very much an adult/ novice with the violin. Rosin gives good bite on the strings without a lot of residue and pounder. I think it's good anyway.

The few items that I've bought over the few years have been wonderful. Fine selection of items but also prices to fit anybody's budget. It's also fun to dream about the pricier violins, violas, bows and accessories that I wish I could afford. Ha!!" Ahhhh. One day maybe." I'll call on Johnson Strings when I'm rich. Ha!
