I had previous experience with this book in the viola version so I knew it has good arrangements. Shipping time was as expected. I was especially pleased with the light cardboard mailer and no plastic!

Threads are a bit fragile and coming undone/fraying near the ball end since I put it on. There is also a sharp bit of metal coming out where the string wraps around the ball, but not severe enough to risk breakage. I do enjoy the sound of the string. From now on I will be sure to look more carefully before I put them on, but on this occasion I didn't have time and needed a string right away.

Shopping experience was great! I was able to find strings I couldn't locally. One thing I'll do better next time is examine the strings thoroughly (before putting on the instrument) for crimps, fraying threads, metal pieces, etc., and I'll try to order in advance so I have time to re-order if necessary.

This string arrived with a crimp in it, which I didn't notice until it was being stretched onto the instrument. Next time I will look more carefully before I put one on, because it can't be returned since I did already try it.
