It comes programmed as Celsius. Directions to change to Fahrenheit are difficult to understand. slow to clear before taking another temperature.

Doesn’t read temps consistently. Beep function doesn’t work so you don’t know when temp reading is complete. Hard to tell current temp from stored temp. Only keeping it because returning is a hassle and subject to restocking fees plus postage.
