The temperature reading is always low, tested it against my dentists reader and his was right on, tested it against a conventional thermomter, ModelGP-300 is always low. A disappointment after paying $50.00 plus.

Received the item fairly quickly, I needed to call customer service for assistance to chance the reader to farenheit and tyhey were great over the phone. Unfortunately, the reader reads low all the time. I compared it to my dentists reader and a conventional thermometer, and the GP-300 always reads low. After spending $50.00, it is a disappointment.

We purchased 2 of these products one month ago. I have now used this dozens of times and the reading has NEVER been over 98.0. It usually reads 97.0 degrees. My normal temp is 98.6. In the past if I've been ill, my temp is at about 99 degrees. I am concerned that this product seems to run very, very low. If I someday show a temp of 98.6, does this mean I am actually much higher? I'm sorry but I really don't think I can trust this product with a Correct Reading!! Both thermometers have done the same thing.
