We had been using these reels for years as badge holders, but the last order of 200 reels was a complete bust. After about two weeks of use, the badge strap would pull from the reel cable making the badge reel useless. The cable would completely snap up into the reel and it had to be thrown away. This happened to almost all 200 of the reels. The manufacturer did work out a credit to buy something else. Disappointed that the quality dropped dramatically.

Our company struggled to find badge reels that would last. Our warehouse workers are rough on them, and would break cheaper ones quickly. These heavy duty reels, however, last much longer. Many of our staff use them to carry IDs, keys, and more. But the reel holds up well under heavy weight.

Use this badge reel in a manufacturing environment where employees clock in and out of work orders. Steel wire and metal belt clip make this badge reel very durable.

Reels are used for ID cards and bar code scans. Are used frequently during a shift. Had problems w/ string breaking on previous model used. So far, these are holding up great!

We've gone through about 300 of these in the past 6 months which is surprising considering how durable they are. I think people are taking them home for their kids to play with. Our company uses the Wire Badge Reel for Proximity Cards. They are well liked and used because they stay clipped to your belt, pocket, waistband, or whatever you are clipping it to. It doesn't come off while taking on and off a seat belt. It won't jab into your waistline when in a sitting position. The only down side is the weight. Sometimes it pulls my slacks down a bit on one side.

This reel is standard issue with our badge holders, we switched to this reel because of inferior reels constantly breaking. No reels have ever broken or been defective. These are definately durable.

I use these badges for crafts I make. They are made very sturdy and last for ever. I have nothing bad to say about these badges. I will be ordering more when I need them. Excellent product.

Use these for keycards. Pull it about 50 times a day. I have never had a problem. My old string ones would break about every month.

I have a user that goes through the normal badge reels literally once every 3 weeks. He looked this new one over and said this looks pretty heavy duty, it might last a while. He is going into his second week and it is going strong.
