I received this and your beautiful oatmeal hammock as a gift over 18 years ago. The stand has been out in Oklahoma summers and winters (both harsh). It is still in excellent shape. I have a friend with a similar-looking hammock stand, but hers is not a Hatteras. She envíes mine for its thick bars, it’s wide foot base (great when the little boys are swinging on it) and the incredible ease with which it comes apart. The push buttons still push easily and the poles slide right on and off- no tugging, pushing or struggling. This is truly an excellent product.
