This is the second one of these I've had to order. The first one bent just like the one it replaced had bent. The first replacement lasted about 5 years, hopefully this one will last longer. The metal isn't as strong as it needs to be, but it's the only option on the market so I had to order it again. Was very impressed by Hardware Hut though!

Worked great! The old spring mechanism folded in on itself and I ordered these new ones to replace it. When I got them, they were slightly different than the old ones. It appears that Warner has updated the design and it is more robust. With 2 people, it took a about an hour and a half to replace these and now the ladder works like it is new. I'm very happy with them.
