I have been using the Hai Gold flat iron for many years. I have thick curly hair! This is the only iron that is easy to handle, your hair glides through effortlessly, does not damage & leaves a smooth finish.

I purchased the HAI Gold Convertable flat iron to replace my old one. I broke my old Gold HAI due to where and how I packed it in my luggage for a family trip. I purchased my old Hai Gold 15 plus years ago. I was a patron of the Eric Fisher Academy in Wichita,Ks and that was the flat iron the students used. I liked the way my hair looked and felt after every visit. I am an African American and I have a relaxer on my hair and my hair is coarse and I need a higher heat setting this producet is perfect. There was no question about what brand to replace my old HAI with. I am a HAI Gold super fan.

I looked for this brand on Amazon but they didn't have this particular model, so I checked your website and ordered directly from HAI. I ordered it on July 3rd and when I clicked to checkout there was a sale going on that weekend and that made it even better.

I purchased this because it is “convertible” so that I would have an iron I could use in Europe. Now I see it is not.

I’ve been using this brand for more than 30 years because it’s the best. The first straightener lasted me 20 years, and I used very frequently, until I dropped it from a 3 story building and gave out. I immediately ordered two more: one for traveling and one for home. My daughters grew up and went off to college and they wanted to take my straightener, do I bought them each one and that way I don’t have to carry my traveling one when I go visit them. We are an ION family. My sister is a typist and she only has this brand in her salon. They are efficient, long lasting, and the best at straightening hair without damaging it. You won’t be sorry to buy one.

I like how quickly it heats up, and the variety of the temperature setting is great. The only problem with the design is that hear is constantly getting caught somehow on the edges of the iron.

My heart breaks to write this but my very first and only hair straightener, this Hai Stik, has finally died after 15 years of dedicated service. I don't know if straighteners are supposed to last that long but THIS ONE DID and I'm on the site to get another one because why would I try a different one knowing this one won't let me down?? RIP #1 Hai Stik - I look forward to your successor.

I had an original Hai flat iron for over 12 years. It actually still works but just felt after that amount of time it might be time for a new one. Would highly recommend their flatirons to anyone. I have thick, coarse, curly hair and it works great.
