The Futuro Island mounted Jupiter Glass, represents a stylish step up from the traditional range hood. When one enters my kitchen, the first thing that greets the eye is the range area. Thus, I wanted something that would look better than a budget-priced hood. But style isn't the only reason I chose the sleek Jupiter: Quietness is also one of its attributes. At the higher of its 4 speeds, this unit is rated at 3.2 sones. Though not totally whisper-quiet, it permits easy conversation. The low speed, which provides acceptable exhaust performance, is nearly inaudible at only 0.5 sones.

We received the order and our contractor has already installed the unit. We love it and so does everyone who sees it in our kitchen.

For years I had a good old NuTone range hood. Earlier this year, it started acting up a bit (getting really noisy) and although I could have had the unit fixed, I decided to take a look at other options. I found Futuro line and was captivated by their appearance. Performance was stated to be about 5 times the airflow of the Nutone (940 CFM vs. about 180 CFM) & quieter to boot. I purchased the Moon Crystal model and had it installed few months later. Now, this unit is the center of attention in my kitchen. It is very quiet, even on the high speeds and it removes all of the smoke and heat out of my kitchen very efficiently. I may not be able to afford a Ferrari, but I've got the hottest range hood on the block! Two thumbs up!

This range hood was a great choice of a gift for my mom. Her old venting system was loud, slow, and only exhaustive to her frustration. It was time for a change and Futuro Futuro was kind to the budget. We bought her the Galaxy model. The hood is a good one. And, it makes a good investment for the home. With 4 speeds on the fan, and easy to clean system, it does the trick. This made my mom very happy.

I purchased and installed a 36" Step range hood. You can have it ductless or ducted, as it is made to accommodate both ways of installing it. Mine is ducted. It is pretty quiet, compared to a lot of hoods I've checked. You can hold a conversation while the hood is blowing, and that's a plus. I can use the light for a night light or just for cooking ease. Stainless hoods can be remarkably expensive, also. Have you noticed how much you pay when it comes to stainless anything? Costing about $1195, I think this is quite inexpensive for a stainless type, top of the line model.

I had a hard time choosing which range hood to buy. Because I wanted something with design and power,I got the Galaxy Island. It arrived by the end of the week and I had no problems installing it whatsoever. Very good range hood. I like it very much, especially the timer feature. It's definitely worth the sale price.

We've built our new house with an island cooktop in the center of the kitchen. It was a nice design touch, but the island was very small and would fit only a 30-inch 4-burner cooktop. So we purchased the Island mounted Altair range hood. It was delivered to us very quickly and looks much better in real life than it does on Futuro's website. We are very happy with our decision.
