In a retail world seemingly fraught with endless disappointment, I feel joyfully compelled to share our exceptional kitchen renovation experience! A paradox you say? No, I tell you truly, if you are looking for excellent customer service, fair pricing, impeccable craftsmanship, quality marble, quartzite, quartz, and/or granite and would like to re-live the feeling of a kid in a candy store, then take a ride to Fordham Marble!
 
Fordham Marble in Stamford, CT is brimming with a plethora of beautiful natural and man-made stones and tile in every shade imaginable. Walking into the showroom we were greeted with warmth and escorted into a wonderland of materials. The cache might have been dizzying except for the fact that the displays are meticulously and beautifully organized by color and materials. The samples are good-sized and the entire layout creates a user-friendly navigation for the selection process.
 
But here comes the critical part. My husband (a licensed architect) and I (a person who has renovated more times 'than is fun') have a deep appreciation for true craftsmanship and this component proved to be an incomparable element in our overall experience. Mayson (yes, his actual name :) was our creative salesperson whose discerning eye added the perfect finishing touch to our project plan. Mario, the skilled artisan, not only measured with laser precision but shared his decades-long experience and guided us in our final detail choices. Lou, Dimitri, Elias, and Ray executed the delicate patterning and installation flawlessly.
 
The icing on this proverbial cake is not only had we received truly remarkable customer service, but we were met with genuine, and I mean genuine kindness and sincerity from every single person we dealt with on the Fordham Marble Team. Not only did the project turn out beautifully, but the journey was also a pleasure. 
 
No, we are not related to any of these folks in any way, we are just feeling that, particularly these days, it is nice to have good news to share!

From the first phone call to Fordham Marble to the installation I was totally satisfied.
I am absolutely pleased with my nano glass countertop. The office returned calls and set up my installation with the workmen. All the workmen arrived when expected. They were professional and friendly. I highly recommend Fordham.

I've worked with Fordham Marble on many projects over the years, most recently on an entire house. Joyce and her team are excellent - knowledgeable, helpful, professional and easy to work with. The showroom is set up very well so it's not overwhelming like most places and it's easy to find exactly what you're looking for. Stone, tile and workmanship are all top quality. Would never go anywhere else!

I worked with Mayson at Fordham Marble and couldn't have been happier with my experience. Mayson has wonderful ideas and great taste and I love the final results . The kitchen counter tops and backsplash,bathrooms and fireplace were all done to perfection. Mayson was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend Fordham Marble to everyone!

I got quotes from several fabricators for a huge project in Westport, CT and Mayson was the only one who proposed small change to architect's drawing that saved me thousands. He was solution-oriented when we encountered issues, and was able to source a jumbo slab in material i wanted - a complete unicorn that i was told didn't exist! My counters look great with nearly invisible seams. I will def use Fordham again in my next project.

We selected the perfect quartz and quartzite countertops for a kitchen renovation rather quickly. We worked with the fabricator and selected where to cut out our cooktop which was quite helpful. Installation went real well and their guys lifted such heavy pieces and did a great job. Fordham's person who templated our job was very good and detailed oriented which is what you need. On the whole, I am so happy with the entire job and plan to work with them again.

Professional and caring experience, from start to finish!

Fordham Marble installed a beautiful quartz countertop in our kitchen and the process from start to finish was excellent. Joyce knew exactly what we wanted based on photos we showed her, Demetri was very helpful when he came to measure and pointed out issues with our old sink and came back to remeasure right after our new sink was delivered, Lou (the foreman at the Fordham factory in Bridgeport) used his 20+ years of experience to figure out how to cut the slab into 4 pieces just right so the veins in the quartz look connected from our peninsula to the waterfall, and the installers were extremely courteous and did a meticulous job with the installation. We only did a "facelift," but our kitchen looks brand new!

I was introduced to Joyce through our cabinet designer early in the design process. We were building a home in Nantucket and had multiple needs for counters and tile. It was my first visit to the Fordham Marble showroom in Stamford and I was impressed by the wide range of material in one location--beautiful marble, quartz, and quartzite slabs, gorgeous selection of tile--and smartly laid out! Joyce was wonderful to work with. After the initial consultation, she was able to guide us through the process, being mindful of both our design aesthetic and our budget. Our project was not without its challenges--organizing installation and delivery to an island in the middle of a pandemic is no easy feat, but she was respectful of our timelines and did not disappoint!! We love the finished product. Her entire team is fabulous and we would highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Fordham Marble and especially Joyce. She was very patient with me as I did not know what I wanted. She came up with fantastic ideas and I ended up with 2 beautiful bathrooms on her advise and expertise. I would highly recommend Fordham Marble and Joyce.

I have used Fordham Marble for quite a few renovations(bathrooms, wet bar, wine cellar, backsplash replacement). Fordham has an extension collection of marble, stone and tile. Joyce, who I have worked with on all these renovations, is extremely skilled at helping select materials for the vision of a project. The look of the renovations far surpassed my exceptions! I am thrilled with the quality and selection of materials I have purchased from Fordham Marble.
