These lights are not "commercial" at all and should not be sold by The Exit Light Co. in my opinion. The base is so small, it will not fit a standard electrical box! It's not even a matter of not having mounting holes to match a standard electrical box (I can & have drilled holes before if needed), these bases are literally TOO SMALL to cover a standard electrical box. I will NEVER buy these again, and I am re-considering using The Exit Light Co. as a supplier for my future needs. For the same $$ you can buy a GOOD, commercial-grade emergency light from Amazon.

In your description of these lights, you never mentioned that they WILL NOT FIT a standard electrical box. Not only do they not have any holes that match an electrical box, the base is literally TOO SMALL to fit a standard electrical box. If you mentioned this, I would NEVER have purchased this junk. I have really had second thoughts about any company that would sell this kind of cheap, worthless product, and I will probably be looking for a new supplier for my emergency lighting needs. For the same $$, I can buy a good, commercial-grade fixture from Amazon.

The the exit lights used to of these bulbs. In the past the bulbs would frequently fail. I rewired the fixture so the bulbs are in series across the 120 volts. The extra light is not as bright but they last a very long time.
