My daughter took this to camp and it worked great. The wheels are a must have though, if you get this. They are a good size unlike other trunk wheels and make moving the trunk bearable. I like how they slip on and off with ease. The metal exterior and water resistant lining were nice, since it was in a platform tent all week. The enamel finish has a slight sheen to it and allowed her to apply and move stickers on the trunk. The handles are metal but I didn't have any issue with them. One review recommended padding, but I think that creates an opportunity for mildew or tearing. This trunk is simple and well made. The only con I see is it only has one hinge inside. It functioned well and stayed open, but it seemed odd to me. Bottom line is it functions well and comes with a lifetime parts warranty and great customer service, so I highly recommend this trunk!

My daughter loves using these trays to help keep her footlocker organized while at camp for 4 weeks. We ordered a 2nd one this summer since the truck actually fits 2 quite well. She puts all her art supplies and stationary in one and her socks and undergarments in the other. What a fantastic product!

This is my daughters first year away at camp and the minute she got her trunk she was so excited to go - this is a very cool, durable trunk. I am hoping to get at least 6 more years out of it.

This product is great! It holds a lot more than expected and made finding small items so much easier. My daughter kept writing materials, a fan, two flashlights, mirror, hairbrush and accessories, sunglasses, camera, and other misc. items inside. The best part was everything came home from camp organized! The tray fits in the track well and slides with ease. The lid was difficult to open initially, but improved with use and still closes tight. My daughter loves the tray but said one "con" is that it blocks half the trunk, which can be a problem. I don't see this as a problem since you can easily remove it, but I'm not 10 yrs old either. ;). I definitely recommend buying this.

This was a great addition to the trunk. It almost doubled the space! We fit a thick twin mattress pad, two sheet sets, three blankets and her full sized pillow without an issue. The snaps were installed at the factory, which was nice. The duffle snapped on tight and didn't move when rolling the trunk. When we arrived at camp, they took the trunk and I just unsnapped the duffle, put it over my shoulder and set up her bedding area. So quick and easy!

Such a simple idea and it works great. Most trunks have tiny little wheels that can't be removed and they work poorly. This trunk has a wheel well that runs along one side of the trunk where the wheels easily slide into. There is a small ball bearing "thing" on each post attached to the wheel, but there is no locking mechanism, so I was pleasantly surprised to find they stay in place while in motion. When you're done, you just slip them off and place them in the nice canvas bag they give you, complete with drawstring. It's definitely a must have for these heavy, quality trunks.

This trunk is great! My daughter's third trunk for camp. Compared to her previous trunks it's sturdy, larger and easier to carry. The colors are great. She has the mint one. Perfect for camp and planning to take it to college for storage and to use as a "table".

Www purchased this wonderful trunk for our daughter to replace a hard trunk that she had been taking to camp for years. We were all surprised at how spacious the interior as and how many wonderful storage compartments there are. It held the majority of her camp gear, and we are very happy with our purchase.

My daughter has used these cards for the past several years at various camps. It's a quick and easy way for her to distribute her contact information to new friends. It's really helped. She keeps in touch with her friends throughout the year. Very well made and super cute.

Bought these for my daughter's summer camp. The camp breaks up into various colors and wear clothing and items representing that color. These are well made and look great on. Highly recommend.

I ordered this for my son who will start college in the fall and I am so happy with how fast it came and how well it was packed. When I slid it out of the box, I knew immediately I made the right decision of paying a liittle more as this thing is EXTREMELY sturdy and beautifully made. The wheel system is great, just pop them on when you need to roll it, and pop them off when you want the trunk to sit flat. They swivel too like a good quality suitcase making it easy to pull. My son will have this for many years to come. You get what you pay for folks!
