This collar is marvelous. We only used it two times and the barking has stopped. And it's not necessary to even put the collar on now. And we only used it on the training setting. I tried a different bark collar from a local pet store previously, but it took continuous batteries, started to fall apart, plus it didn't work once the collar came off. This one has worked immediately, is of good quality, and is rechargeable. Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE this cover!!! One side has a zipper pocket and the other side has an open pocket, where I store the extra mixer heads. It fits perfectly on my new Kitchenaid mixer.

Collar has stopped my dog barking. I stayed with him for the first day of him having it on but he rarely barks when I am around. The first time it gave progressive shocks I was out of the house but I was filming the dogs and it did seem to distress him to the point of him sounding almost injured but it stopped the barking and since then, even with out the collar on, he has not been barking.

Honestly I was skeptical. I ready reviews saying it was "too powerful" or didn't work, along with amazing reviews on how great it is. I was worried it was just the company writing their own reviews. But honestly, this collar has saved our small family. Our apartment managers were threatening to evict us due to our dogs excessive howling. She gets really bad separation anxiety. We tried the thunder shirt, melatonin treats, nothing worked. I hated the idea of putting a bark collar on our dog. She's 12 pounds, and I was worried something like this would be too strong and hurt her. We tested in on ourselves first and it wasn't bad. When we put it on her, she learned her lesson after the first shock. We haven't had a single complaint since. This collar was worth it.

This collar saved my dog from going back to the rescue shelter. He would bark at anyone who entered or came to our house. Unfortunately, he would get into a barking frenzy and work himself up. He had to be locked up away from people when this occurred. We tried other cheaper collars to control his barking. They did not work. Some were noise controlled so any noise would zap him. Some gave a beep to let him know he was about to be zapped. Unfortunately, the beeps were very loud and often. Annoyed us, not him. This collar was his last chance. I tried both modes. No reaction from the dog. I was worried that this was just one more collar that didn't work. Finally though, I tried the manual settings. Started at 4 with still no reaction. Went up one at a time. It took a setting of 7 to get his attention. Tough dog! He's half American Eskimo and half Collie. It took a while for him to understand that loud, persistent barking would lead to a correction. Took about two weeks before he finally accepted his situation. The good thing is that I wasn't involved in the training. No more yelling at him to stop barking or "bad dog" yells. He trained himself. Now he is a perfect gentleman. People remark what a well behaved dog he is while we are walking. That's while their dog is barking and carrying on. Don't waste your money on the cheaper collars, bite the bullet and spend the money. Worth every penny.

Overall this a great product. We have a 3 dogs and and only use it on 2 dogs. We started with the younger dog first and with the factory default settings. It took her 2 barks to realize she would get a zap. One of the nice things is if our other dogs bark it will not trigger a zap for the dog wearing it. Most of the time if she starts barking we can put it on her with it off and she will not bark as she understands the consequences. For the 2nd dog he has been trying to defeat the system,he realizes he will get a zap and has adjusted his bark to different tones and moans that are acceptable . We have accepted he is stubborn as he pushes his electric fence collar we use on him outside the same way. Battery life has been better than expected. We have only charged it twice.

I am so pleased with this product, not only does it stop my dogs from barking it does it at the correct level of correction they need. I have 2 large breed puppies ( 11 months ) who have 24 hr a day access to their back yard and love to bark at deer at 3am, now they can play but no longer bark annoying my neighbors. One had to have about 3 or 4 corrections, the other needed only 1 and now just putting the collar on at night corrects his barking.

I absolutely hated the idea of doing this to my dog, but it was either this or move. If you have to go down this road, this is the collar you want. The different functionalities give you some sense of control of the process which helps. It's definitely well made. It has a rechargeable battery. The instructions are thorough and in well-written english. After putting the collar on my dog, I wanted to assess the situation and make sure I wasn't doing something horribly traumatic to her before leaving for any substantial period of time. So I set up my webcam and drove around the corner and watched on my laptop. My dog barked exactly 3 times before being silent. She figured it out really quickly and it's worked like a charm since then. It's still eerie to get out of my car and not hear my dog going nuts inside.

After using cheap bark collars we decided to give this a try. I couldn't stand my dog barking for hours and hours at kids playing outside or even air that surround her. It's been only 1 day but I can tell that it works much much better than the other collars. (This collar does not beep or shock when my dog shakes her head or stick her head out from the window in the car to feel the wind like the other collars did) Wish I had purchased this one first so that I wouldn't have waisted $$ for the first two collars. No more headache nor complaints from neighbors.

This is the third no bark collar I've used for my Geat Dane, the first two just were not effective. This one however is amazing! the correction is strong enough to control his barking. The collar is made of good quality material and stay snug all day long. I highly recommend SpotDog.

Absolutely should have bought this a LONG time ago. We did the ultrasonic bird house in the yard and it didn't deter our dog one bit. Maybe the yard is too big, but I have a hand held ultrasonic she responded to, but not that one. So, I got this after our neighbor complained that they could not enjoy their yard because of our dog's continual barking. She was a dog that would not stop barking if there was a person or animal nearby. She no longer barks at all. If she let's out one bark, she quickly remembers that's not going to work. I love that I can leave her out there longer and even leave the house for a bit without worry.

I wish I could give this thing 100 stars. We have an almost-8-year old Wheaten Terrier. If she knows you, she'll lick you to death. But if you're a delivery person, a dog she finds particularly uncool for any reason, a "suspicious looking" child with a backpack walking to the bus stop, or anything else she feels like barking at - look out. She'll go bananas. She turns into Cujo. But not anymore, thanks to this miracle device! I don't know how or why we waited this long to try a bark collar, and going forward, I will never NOT use one on a dog with problematic barking. It'll sounds like I'm exaggerating, but I promise you I'm not - this collar transformed our dog, but only in the ways that needed transforming. We have an electric fence at home, so our pup is no stranger to shock collars, and I assumed she'd figure out this bark collar just as quickly as she figured out her fence collar. Welp, I was wrong. It was quicker! One time with the mailman is all it took. Like the instructions say, I was outside with her for the first time, and I decided to use the mode that ramps up in intensity until the barking stops. The mailman showed up, we went outside, and Cujo...err, I mean, Gracie...did her thing. Except this time after a few barks, I heard her squeal and sorta run away (exactly how she reacts to the beep on her fence collar). Another bark, another squeal, a couple steps taken back. Another bark, one more squeal, and now she's sitting in the yard watching me talk to the mailman. Ordinarily, she'd be racing up and down the fence line barking herself hoarse. I had to do a double-take to see if it was actually my dog sitting there quietly, and I think it was! By the time I finished up with the mailman, I turned around to find Gracie waiting at the door for me. Holy hell, what just happened? I have to say, for the rest of that first afternoon, she was a little confused and timid to go back outside. But she never barked as long as that collar was on, and we had 2 delivery people come to the door - and I didn't need to do or say anything to keep her quiet. She just laid there, as if the delivery people weren't even there. Since then, sometimes I use the collar on her, sometimes I just SHOW it to her when I want her to be quiet - that's how good this thing does its job. Delivery people sometimes ask if we got rid of the dog, because they no longer hear or see her! Not only did the collar stop her barking, but it also stopped her frantic/jumping/freak out (i.e. typical Wheaten) behavior. She still barks sometimes when she's not wearing the collar, and she's allowed to do that. She still plays and runs around like she used to, too. But now she knows there are certain times to be calm and quiet, and she's an A+ student. We use it on walks, and that stopped the need for us to cross the street, or wait patiently, or take a wide berth around some trees when another dog approached. We use it any time we want her to be quiet - when delivery people come, when our daughter is napping, out in the yard if "annoying" dogs walk past our house, etc. I'm flat out ASTONISHED at how quickly and how well this collar has worked. And I may be dreaming, but I think that since we started using the collar a few weeks ago, Gracie's behavior and responsiveness to me when she's not wearing the collar has improved.

This collar is the ONLY thing that will get him to shut up. It does work, but not 100 percent of the time. When we first put the collar on him, we used the progressive setting, which starts at a vibration and gets harsher with consecutive barks. He would push through the first three or four barks, eventually stopping when it got too much for him. Afterwards, he would remain pretty quiet for the rest of the day. We eventually changed the setting to the mode in which the collar learns what it takes to get him to stop and starts at that mode the next time he barks. This mode seemed to work better for us, and he only needed to bark once or twice before he figured out that he needed to keep quiet. He never quite understood that the collar does this and he tests his ability to bark almost every morning when we let him out. If we forget to put the collar on or don't put it on tightly enough, we can rest assured that we will get texts from our neighbor with a complaint about his barking (it has already happened at least four times in the past six months). The collar is a bit of a hassle in that it should be taken off and put back on every day. We usually take it off in the evening when we have him in the house and we put it on when we let him out in the morning.

When I first received the SportDog collar I Immediately put it on my French Bulldog & I put on level (1) . My dog kept barking with the collar on, so I contacted amazon to start the process to return the collar, but in the meantime I kept the collar on my dog for two days just to see if it would work before sending it back & also my husband put the collar on a higher level (2). During the two days that I was trying to decide whether or not to send the collar back I notice that my dog was barking less & less & by the two days my dog had stop barking completely. Since my dog had stop barking I notified amazon to cancel the process to return the collar. Now I love this collar, it was truly a life saver for us! We live in an apartment & my French Bulldog "Jack Of Hearts" was disturbing my neighbors &I thought that we would have to move. Well the moral of this story is, that If you buy this collar, don't give up on it so quickly!! Give it a chance to work! The collar has different levels, you just have to find which level works for your dog;)

great product. The directions were great with info and options for the dog learning to not bark. Our dog took only 2days to get the idea. We are leaving it on him for the quiet times for at least 2 weeks like the directions suggested so the dog learns. Battery life seems really good. Don't have to charge it every night. After leaving it on all day powered, it looked like it would last another 2 before needing the charge.

Works well; finally found one that my dog responds to. My reason for 4 stars rather than 5, is the stiff plastic collar that is a bit hard to adjust and fasten around her neck. Hope it "softens" after some usage.

Attention! So far I have owned one of these collars for about four months.I have since purchased 2 more. They are an investment but worth every penny for me.I live in an apartment with my bull terriers.I can fit this collar to my adult girly and my much smaller doggy. This collar works.Different dogs react differently. My larger bully was surprised with the first correction but since then she doesn't bark at all while wearing this.My younger doggy has gotten into a stressful bark loop where she seemed to be testing it but it also upset her and myself. If you can tough it out even a dog who tests it learns to be quiet she wearing the collar. Its a nice slick material that wipes off easily with wet wipes. It holds a charge for a few days.It charges quickly as well.I have noticed son redness where the collar touches my dogs necks however I try to adjust it properly so my dogs can't shake it around too much which causes some irritation. You have to find a good fit not too tight not too loose.I try to make sure I can fit two fingers between the neck and collar.Overall I'm relieved to be able to stay in my apartment and keep my dogs because they aren't bugging my neighbors anymore lol.Apartment living forces some choices sometimes.Ive tried other collars.Batteries are unreliable as well as the performance of these other products I tried. The collar was also harder to adjust. This collar is gold thanks

Best bark collar on the market. I have an Alaskan Klee Kai, she's about 17lbs, and she has the worse separation anxiety. She barks and whines so loud whenever I'm not in sight or she's left alone. I lived in an apartment and had another collar, I think it's by petsmate, and it worked but the batteries drained so fast. Eventually I was asked to vacate due to her barking. It's been a few years, and I opted for this collar since I'm living in an apartment again, and it's a dream! When I'm gone, she doesn't even bark! I use it sparingly as I have friends and a roommate that loves to watch her, but it still works. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, not 5, is because I live in the heart of downtown and I've tried using it when I step into a coffeeshop for a moment and chain her up, but it does nothing. I'm sure it's more her, not the collar, but it would be nice to have a solution for those 3 mins here and there. Right now my boyfriend has to stand outside with her.

We have only been using it for a few days but already love this thing! We moved to a new house and our 1 year old, 40lbs mix breed dog has been barking at anything that comes close to the fence, including the neighbor dogs, the mailman, squirrels, butterflies, falling leaves... She only does it when no one is home so we were having trouble correcting the behavior, and not exactly making friends with the new neighbors. We first tried a cheaper brand and it worked okay, but the battery lasted only 4 hours and it kicked the bucket after 1 afternoon in a light rain. The neighbors said they haven't heard a peep from her since we got this collar, and she doesn't seem to mind it at all - the first collar was an ultrasonic one and made her nervous- she ran when we would get it out, but with this one she sits patiently and doesn't shy away. We are using the progressive setting. We don't use the collar when we are home and last night she treed a possum in the yard and barked only once despite being VERY excited. We waited 5 minutes to see if she would bark again since she wasn't wearing the collar, but she just ran in circles around the tree. It seems to have trained her in a matter of days.

Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.

Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.

As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:

Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.

Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
