Only a portion of the shipment was delivered, but that issue was corrected quickly after contacting the seller. The product was two automatic pet feeders that I like, but my cats aren't sure about yet. I haven't given up though!

The machine works just like the one I bought a few years ago, so overall I am happy. But the plexiglass sliding door makes a loud grinding noise when opening and a loud screech when closing, so the kittens are scared to use it. I do not mean the normal mechanical noise when it opens and closes, which is to be expected. So I'm going to see if there is a way to relieve the catching and associated noises.

I love the idea of this self feeder. The first few days it worked wonderfully, but after awhile my cat would stand directly in front of the feeder, and it wouldn't open. I'd have to wave his rfid a bit before the feeder responded. I always had the feeder plugged into the wall outlet. I am returning the feeder for a full refund.

I'd like to see assurance that this item supports the use of wet cat food. I'm hoping it does. Plus, is the bowl dishwasher safe?
