Very expensive tool for a DIYer, but I need to find a lost septic system. I would have preferred NOT to spend the $1000, but I was NOT able to rent one and the septic system needs to be found. Maggie works really well. After reading the instructions, Maggie is very easy to use. The sound is loud and the screen is easy to read and understand, even in direct sunlight. Maggie is more for a professional land surveyor, but I need to find the septic system that was installed in 2002 and never used. The county records can get me in the general area, but I am still looking. The 48 acres have been logged and all the county recorded "markers" have been cut down. Hopefully, I will find the lost septic system soon! Other pluses include: Great carrying case!; Bright yellow color, so I can easily find it when I lay it down in the bush; Arrived within a week of ordering; Handle is comfortable. If you are a professional land surveyor, the cost will be insignificant - it is required tool that you can write off as a business expense. As a DIYer, try to borrow one from a land surveyor friend or rent one. Contact me and I will sell you mine, after I find the lost septic system.

A good price for an 1/2” tool set. Quick delivery directly from Palmgren. The package arrived in good condition and the cutting heads are well finished. There is no reference card in the box identifying each tool, so you’ll need to rely on the Palmgren catalog. Note that there is no ID stamped on the shank of the tools either. The label on the box says it’s a collection of end mills, but it really is a lathe tool set. Be sure to do the Palmgren registration, from past experience they really do send you things for providing feedback.
