The 2 men who installed my floors were great. They worked for 10 straight hours and they never took one break. I kind of felt sorry for them. They did a fantastic job and were so professional. They left my house inside and out spotless. I was amazed. My floors are gorgeous and I couldn't be happier. It was a wonderful experience and I have not one complaint. I had 4 rooms done by these men and they removed and hauled away my carpets and installed floors in 10 hours. They moved all the furniture and put everything back just the way it was. It is 3 weeks that I had them done and I still go upstairs so many times a day just to look at them. Gorgeous!!!!

I just love my new floors. They are gorgeous and my bedrooms look awesome. My rooms never felt so warm and cozy!!

The overall experience was good. The sales representative knew his stuff realy good. He was cortious, friendly and he gave me the info on what I need it. They installed the carpet the same week (although they rescheduled my appointment, letting me know that morning, not happy about that). The installers were fast and clean. The carpet looks great!

THE COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE INSTALLERS WERE REALLY KIND AND PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE USED EMPIRE IN THE PAST AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE WHEN I HAVE FLOORING NEEDS.

While the sales and installation were a breeze and straightforward, the Customer Service Department was a disappointment. I had called the prior to ask if I needed to physically be present at the time of installation and they said no that they could take my payment over the phone, especially since they couldn't give me anything less than a 12 hour window for the installation to begin. The day of the installation, I was called by the installers and was told that I did need to be there and that they couldn't take my payment over the phone. When I called back to customer service and explained the situation and my phone call the previous day, I was told "Sir, yesterday was yesterday and today is today and you need to be there." This is a totally inappropriate response from a company representative and I almost cancelled the installation and purchase. Fortunately, the installers called their supervisor and got a "one time" exception and took my payment information from my wife.

All installers are contracted and are very good at what they do, except moving furniture. I suggest you do all the moving yourself.

The Sierra Oak wood laminate VERY Closely matched the laminate we had previously installed several years ago. You can barely see a difference. We have gotten nothing but compliments on our choice!!! Thanks!!!

I spoke to representive when my carpet was first installed letting them know it wasn't the plush I agreed on. I called back and the representive never called me back. It has now be over a month and my issue is still no resolved.

Awful. From Sales to now, it has not been a pleasant experience. Will never recommend Empire to anyone. Salesman got the order wrong. Never responded to our calls in a timely manner. Processed our financing incorrectly. Rather than process 12 months no interest, they already charged us finance charges after 3 weeks owning the carpet! Carpet is already pulling after a month owning it. Customer service makes promises to remedy the situation but no such luck. Still waiting.

Awful. Carpet pulls easily. Only a month installing the carpet, it has already pulled and extremely thin. Salesman sold us a cheap make and never bothered to give us an array of styles to choose from. Never again.

I have a repair in the dining room that needs to be done. It has taken 6 weeks to get someone to look at it. No one is available by phone, mail boxes are full and they don't return calls. It is difficult to find someone that will take ownership after the job is done.

The floors do dent and scratch much easier than described. ..add a 6 yr old..a cat. .and company. They also "float" and creak. We got a good deal regardless at the time with a warranty.

The salesman sold me the wrong color carpet when the carpet arrived as well as once it was installed i voiced my option about the carpet in no way matching the carpet color already in my home. I expected it to be a shade or two off but not a completely different color. Despite several promises by empire to come and look at the carpet no one came out. The carpet itself is pretty but because of the color being so off it makes my home look like the projects.

We were given a time for installation and the installer was given a completely different date ir was given the time too late so he was not going to get to our job on the Friday as we were told. Two people in our family took time off of work to cover the times that we were given so someone would be here when the installer was here to do the job. The installer did come to our house at about 6pm on the Friday night so there was no way he could get the job done that day. He said he just received the work order at 4pm. Poor service on the part of Empire and their schedulers. When we called to discuss our unhappiness with this situation the girl who took our customer service call just laughed and said there was nothing she could do about it, tough luck. She had no sympathy or empathy at all for our situation. After speaking to her supervisor, he agreed to give us a $150. refund for the poor customer. It has been 2 months and we have received no refund or credit to our account. This has been a failure on Empires side.
The installer said he would come back the following day, Saturday, to get the job done. We had agreed to have our floor removed and the new floor freshly installed, however, when the installer came on the Saturday he explained it would be better to just cover the existing floor so we decided to do that. It has been 2 months since the floor was installed and we have not received the refund for not having the old floor removed. I have made 2 payments and no one seems to be in any hurry to make this right on my billing. This has been another failure on Empires part.
There were many other things that went wrong with this job, but they were all on the side of Empire and their lack of customer service. I just don't have time to list everything here. The installer was friendly and did a good job. The flooring looks great and we get compliments on it all the time. We are very happy with the floor, but would not use Empire at all again or recommend them to friends or family.

I love the flooring I received and the contractor Empire used to install it was great. However, working with Empire has been horrific. I have been waiting 2 months to get a mischarge reversed on my account and a credit back to my account for poor customer service by Empire. I would recommend the contractor and the product I had installed to others, but not Empire. Empire has poor customer service, poor follow through and poor management on their end.
