The mini shelf was such a great buy for my sons dorm room but I do not recommend the plastic liners sold separate. We ordered two and one came cracked and as soon as we sat a keurig on the other it cracked all the way through. Don’t waste your money on those.

This works perfect in my son's dorm room. With the adjustable shelves, he was able to use it with his fridge/Micro combo (the fridge and micro are connected so you can't put the micro on the top of the shelf.

One of the posts that arrived with the original shipment was defective. I sent an email to customer service and they replied quickly and shipped out a new part. I had the new part within a few days.

The height was not as expected. I unfortunately did not pay attention to the dimensions and made an assumption based on the photo. The photo is misleading for the mini shelf. The picture in the photo shows a fridge with a top freezer. The bottom shelf of the mini shelf sits on top of the 4.5 cubic ft refrigerator. I would like to purchase an extender but I could not find that option
