We purchased the shelving unit for our son’s dorm room. It was very easy to put together, very sturdy and added lots of extra storage without taking up any extra floor space. It’s very nice to be able to place the shelves anywhere you want them. Our son is tall, so we decided to put two shelves at the bottom with the mini fridge sitting on one with one shelf below it, and the other two that came with it, plus an extra that we purchased on top of the refrigerator. We also purchased the frosted liners for all the shelves. They were very nice but recommend something more sturdy for underneath the fridge and microwave so the legs do not push through the wire shelving. I believe they also sell a hard liner, but I just made it myself using the frosted liner as a template.

DormCo has a lot of choices to help organize a dorm room. I really liked the ability to upgrade and customize shelving units for fit our specific needs. The shelving unit we purchased was easy to put together and very sturdy. The website is easy to navigate an offered the best prices on all the products. We would highly recommend DormCo shelving units to anyone looking for quality products.

Excellent dorm addition to use space vertically! Loved the bracing on the bottom of the shelf on three sides so mini fridge could sit directly on the floor. Loved the flexible height of each shelf and shelf liners were a good addition. Note: microwave made plastic shelf liner buckle - you will need a rigid shelf liner for heavy items.

One of the 5 shelves arrived dented and because package wasn't opened until dorm move in day, we had to use the dented shelf - that was disappointing. Otherwise, great product as always!
