This desk unit gave may daughter more space to store stuff on her desk. The only issue is that anything slim like picture frames can’t stand on the shelves since there are no cross beams. Picture frames fall through the shelf. We used bins to store stuff on it and she will have to put cardboard down to place a picture frame on the shelf.

Easy to put together. Shelf came broken where back meets side so I cannot use it for schoolbooks. Don't have box to return it. Other shelf is bent in same place but not broken, yet. Don't top shelf to hold weight. Such a nice idea, no tools needed, but it was a water of my hard earned money. :(

Some pieces were broken. Some of the paint was chipped. The instructions were very difficult to understand, they were no help on how to put the bookshelf together.

Love it! Almost too wide for older dorm desks so try to get dimensions first. Nice open structure helps keep small dorm rooms feeling open.
