I have an old Overhead Door 55A garage door opener. The remote was lost. I had gone to Home Depot and other hardware stores to find a compatible remote but could not find one for an older model. The key is to look for the frequency of the opener itself. My opener was a 340 MHz. This remote matched. Once purchased, you must sync the "dip switches" on the opener and the remote. These are 9 little bars that can be placed in a + or - setting. Find the 9 dip switches on your opener and sync your remote to match them. This remote works great. Thank you so much!!

My 30 yr remote garage opener failed. Ordered a new 109130-340 340 MHz opener. Much smaller and works great. Its amazing what 30 yrs of technology advances can do. The new one is easy to access battery and setting.
