Our remote garage door opener was intermittently working. We changed the battery but still had a problem. It would not open the garage door but would sometimes close it. We have an older garage door opener system and was happy to find a unit that was compatible. Otherwise we would have had to put a new system in.

This is a life saver. From the driveway we have to walk through the whole house to get into the garage to open the door. We were desperate for the remote and receiver. On our 50 something year old garage opener, it worked like a charm. I’m hugely grateful!!

I've spent that last few days trying to find anyone who knows anything about my needs.I have an old garage door that works beautifully with the button, but not with the remote. this problem seemed to stump everyone. In Canada I could find remotes, but no receivers. No one seemed to know anything until I found you! Thank all good things I did!

I have been hunting for a replacement for a receiver and remote for an old garage door, and if this works no one will be happier than me. I have a special needs son and the opening of that door really matters. Thank you Marc for the advice and information!

An excellent way to replace a fried opener remote lacking available parts for a vintage 1980's Sears garage door opener system. A whole lot less money than buying a new system, also.

Received my order in 5 days, set up was easy and linked it to the homelink in my car. Works perfect and has good range. I can open and close my garage door from the street. My only regret is I waited a year to do this.

This Linear product is GREAT! I have a vintage Craftsman garage opener from 1979, that works beautifully, but I lost the last original remote that I had. I tried other universal remotes with dip switches, but none worked. UNTIL - I found this website and simply asked if they had a solution - and $44 later, I now have a working remote! This unit plugs directly into the back of the door operator, and you'll need your own wiring (SIMPLE!) to connect from the relay unit, to the switch (on mine, it is right on the back near the power supply) - which is already wired to the wall button we use to operate the door. One thing - the original wall button switch was interfering with the new Linear remote - so I simply unplugged the board within the wall mount.
