About this CompanySince 1979, America's Largest Independent Ceiling Fan Retailer. We manufacture our own brand of ceiling fans under the Gulf Coast Fans and TroposAir brand and they are sold through our own 44-Retail Locations, select lighting showrooms and online through our own websites as well as online through Amazon and Home Depot.
Dan's Fan City was started in 1979, by Dan Hibbeln Sr. and his partner Georgia Wood in Clearwater, Florida. On many trips from his native state of Michigan, he noted the growing interest in ceiling fans being used to help cool the home and combat the energy crisis. The very first location in Clearwater, FL was opened the day after Thanksgiving and is still in operation today. Within 4-months it became necessary to open a 2nd location in Seminole, FL which is also still in operation. Dan's Fan City continues to grow today and currently operates 44-stores throughout a 7 state area as well as placement in select lighting showrooms throughout the country and via online channels that ships product worldwide.

I purchased this very same fan in 1992. It was always quite. I purchased the very same fan in approximately 2015 and installed it in my new house. It is running just the one I purchased in 1992. I purchased the very same fan in 2023, the fan is a great value, please keep manufacturing this model HC1131. I will continue to purchase fans from Dan's Fan City in the futrue.

I like the fan and easy to install. fan a little louder due to the way to the blade bend. But this inturn moves more air than a normal fan. happy with the purchase

A-1 Customer Experience. Adam @ Dan's Fan City checked with me before processing my order to insure that his replacement fan arms would exactly fit my brand and model ceiling fan which was at least 40 years old. How thoughtful to make sure I understood what I was ordering. My 52 in fan is an older Murray Feiss Model CF 1,2,3. My measurements did appear to fit perfectly Dan's Fan City emailed template of Hole Pattern Size (Measured Center to Center) A-2 1/16", B-4 1/4"and C-2 15/16". I consider ordering from Dan's Fan City to be exemplary and a pleasant experience with a supplier who puts the customer first. Will not hesitate to order whatever from this dealer. Adam @ Dan's Fan City checked with me before processing my order of 52" ceiling fan replacement arms to insure the Dan's Fan City fan arms would fit my 40+ years old ceiling fan - A Murray Feiss Model CF 1,2,3. My measurement exactly your emailed template: Hole Pattern Size (Measured Center to Center) of the ordered arms are A-2 /16", B-4 1/4" and C-2 15/16". Plus, the bright brass finish of the Dan's Fan City arms make my ceiling fan look more like a new fan.
