I ordered formula on April 13th, delivered on April 17th, and at first I was so grateful to have found a place that had nutramigen in 2 ounce pre made bottles since I would be returning to work on May 15th for two weeks and needed something for my mother in law to feed my son while I worked, that I didn't read any further into their policies or reviews on other nutramigen products. Unfortunately, the formula I received expired on May 1st, so I never even got to use it. I was setting up to return to work and discovered the formula I opened had expired only 2 weeks after I received it. Customer service says they say there is a "short shelf life" on their website, they published they only have a 5 day return window if you see something wrong with the product, and it's my fault for "stocking up" on formula during a formula shortage, so there is nothing they can do for me. I ordered the same product from another company which 1. warned me it would be expiring quickly (2 months not 2 weeks later) and 2. had fantastic customer service (immediately sent out another case for free when one of my cases got lost in the mail). I do not recommend ordering anything from this company. When hypoallergenic formula is your child's lifeline and they send you a product that expires too quickly for you to even use and then blame your formula expiring on you as you "stocking up on formula during a formula shortage" when I had only ordered on box from them for the end of my maternity leave (2 weeks of work before being home for summer), I can promise you they are not the company to buy from. I feed my baby breastmilk and powdered formula when I am home caring for him, but at this point, I would pay more for formula from anywhere else than buy from a company which blames the consumer and takes no action to right a wrong. Before ordering, learn from my mistakes, and make an informed decision about this company.

Hello Kate. Since Nutramigen is on a global shortage, whatever we do receive directly from the manufacturer, Mead Johnson, all gets sent out in less than 5 days upon receipt. Due to linoleic acid in this product to try to replicate breast milk, it does affect the stability of vitamin D, which causes it to have a short shelf life. It is a ready to feed, ready to consume, nursette for reducing the colic, and for infants with lactose intolerance.
We do our absolute best to try to accommodate customers with orders, returns and exchanges within a certain time period, and to address any issues for items within 5 days. Your report was beyond 30 days. While we are unable to take this order back for hygienic purposes, we would still like to make this right.
