This pad is really non-slip. Its even marked as to which side you place on the wooden flooring. I do question its Insulation quality as it is fairly thin. As I had an over sized area rug, I had to order thin padding for the extra area. This to match both the heater thickness and the pad thickness. All in all I very pleased with this product so far.

Shopping on the site was easy and I was very pleased with my overall experience with them. The Products are very good, maybe a little pricey, but the quality is well worth it. I called customer service for a question I had about the plug in thermestat they offered, they were very courteous and straight forward with a response. Cozywinters is a great place to shop for under the floor heating system and if I install a heating system in any other rooms I will go to Cozywinters again.

This pad is exactly what you need for under your radiant floor heating pad. It sticks to the floor and is light and easy to cut. Only drawback, it does leave a sticky residue on the floor when removed. It is a water-based adhesive and I'm sure there is a simple way to remove the sticky stuff, just haven't had time to research it, yet.

Ordering was easy. I wish they offered an option of a bundle with the non-slip thermal pad. It would be easier than having to figure out for yourself that you cannot use this heating pad without the thermal insulation pad.

This non-slip thermal insulation pad for rug heat works well with the rug heater to keep it in place and to keep our rug in place over the rug heater.

Cozy Winters is an excellent company to deal with overall. The products were delivered in a timely manner, and the rug heater for our area rug works well to heat the rug but not the entire room. The programmable outlet thermostat did not work with the rug heater, but Cozy Winters customer service was very easy to deal with in handling the return.

It seems to be helping to retain some of the heat but I have noticed the floor getting pretty warm underneath it. Was it really designed with insulation in mind?

Overall the products and shipping are good. I have no idea why they shipped separately and so far apart and with two different shipping companies. Odd. the rug heat is not bad. It's the seven foot runner but honestly does not produce much heat. If I stand on in it in bare feet for a few minutes I will feel the warmth but for over $200 I think I expected a little more.

The non slip thermal pad should have been larger. I sent a picture showing that it just comes to the outside heating elements. It should have been a couple of inches wider. Please refer to the picture and message I sent last week.
