I had the Hound heater installed and on a timer for several weeks and the fan stopped working. Got ahold of them and they sent a replacement fan out to me, easy to install. Works great on cold days here in Maine keeping my two dogs cozy and warm in there dog house while I'm at work

This little heater works great! So far its dropped down to 31 Fahrenheit outside but keeps the inside a consistent 68 to 71 with the thermostat set right at medium. The key is to have a well insulated dog house with doors to keep the heat in.

Bought two units and brackets for igloo houses. One attached to bracket easily, the other did not match up on the holes of the bracket.

Ordering was easy and products arrived on time. Like this review feature. Product assembly was different for the same units because holes did not match up on heater to bracket.

I am very pleased with this Hound Heater Deluxe Furnace. I have about a 25 to 30 cu/ft mostly insulated dog house inside a shed. It does have a piece of carpet hanging in the doorway and there is an enclosure outside the door with another piece of carpet hanging in that doorway to keep out all drafts. I have found that if I set the thermostat just above low...it kept the house at 47 degrees with no dogs....with dogs and the outside temperature rising to 32, the dog house was 57 degrees. It is mounted on a non-insulated wall, and therefore reads a little cold and keep the house warmer than what the standard setting would if it were better insulated there. I am so pleased that even in cold temperatures, my dogs will be warm and comfortable here in Maine. It doesn't get hot at all on the lower half of the unit so I have no concerns that the dogs could get burned. All in all, a wonderful product ! ! !

I had bought the old hound heater many years ago and ended up talking a few times with the owner, Mike. He was always very pleasant and very helpful. Once again, I had questions about the new Hound Heater Deluxe that I bought and I was answered very quickly. This is a great company that clearly takes pride in providing customers with the best buying experience possible.

I was told via email that I would be notified when the product was beginning it's travels with a tracking number, but never did. So for a few days I thought that I was being ripped off. But it arrived.

I found this heater very easy to install and set up. So far, I am very satisfied with it's performance and I would recommend this item for anyone with a kennel for their dog. I have an indoor doghouse in my garage which is not heated, but it is insulated. It works great at keeping the kennel heated, at the desired temperature.
