The Endeavor gives me a shape I did not have, something we are all looking for when we add a ball to our arsenal. It is smooth and continuous. The 2.540 RG and pearl cover help get the ball down the lane, and the 0.045 Diff gets the ball to make solid move. Add the symmetrical core and the ball is very continuous when it makes it move. I bowl league on the burn, and this ball works great. I also have used it on short PBA patterns, and this ball shines.

Zippers could be a little better designed but the bag is awesome. Rolls like butter, plenty of storage, and the ball section is amazing. Definitely an improvement from the Hammer one I have.

Well How Can Hammer Go Wrong With The Black Widow Line.. I Have Thrown Pretty Much Every Ball In The Black Widow Line And Still Hasnt Let Me Down.. The Addition Of The New Black Widow 3.0 Is Definitely A Great New Addition To My Arsenal. This Ball Definitely Is A Great Choice When The Lanes Are Slick Or Heavier Volume Oil Patterns Really Helps Me Get Through The Oil And Really Drives Through The Pins.. I Have Alot Of Room To Miss And This Ball Recovers For Any Rev Rate Or Type Of Bowler. You Can Use This Ball From Multiple Angles And Still Get Through The Pins... You Can Still Keep Migrating Left With This Ball And Still Gets Downlane And Saves The Energy For The Back Part Of The Lanes And Drives Through The Pins. HK22 Added On This Ball Really Makes This Ball Very Versatile For Every Type Of Bowler. I have loved my two other Black Widows, 2.0 Hybrid and Ghost. This ball gives me the same motion when there is more oil or a longer pattern. I used the Black Widow 3.0 on the Deadman’s curve pattern, 44 feet. I was able to open up the lane and get the ball to arc at 7 or 8, and still hot the pocket. As a high tilt player, that is a big deal. I now have a ball that lets me have the same motion as other players. This is my first HK22 solid, and I love it!

I’m a huge fan of the Widow line and the 3.0 does not disappoint. This is a benchmark to stronger benchmark type ball that can be used on a variety of lane conditions and it has a lot of shape down lane for me for a solid ball. Most stronger solids burn up on me on medium oil and I can only throw them on heavy volume. The Widow 3.0 retains energy and shape even if it’s not sport pattern kind of volumes. Out of the box the comments were on how early and smooth the 3.0 was on the lane. It struck quite a bit. As it lane shined it became longer and a lot more angular but still strikes quite a bit. The 3.0 is a great compliment to the Widow 2.0 Hybrid for times where you need something with a bit more teeth in the oil.

The Columbia 300 Pure Madness is the latest entry for the "snow tire" category of bowling balls. I used it for 4 games of the 6 game block. This was on the challenging PBA Earl Anthony oil pattern which is 43' and 33 mls. This ball was able to read the pattern well and even read a few times I didn't expect when I missed a little right. It rolls thru the pins well and had good carry. It will work well on heavy or long oil conditions. It will also work well for speed dominant or Rev challenged players. Nice piece.

The Scorpion Low Flare is controllable, predictable, versatile, comes back from everywhere with the right angle. This ball will fit many bowling styles and should be a must have ball for league and tournament bowlers. I have never had a Hammer Scorpion ball before. I drilled this because I was interested in the low flare part of it. I thought this might be a true mid level roll and control ball for me. It has been exactly that. The Semtex Hybrid cover with the core combo allows for strong arc but more importantly, it allows for control and predictability.

This version of the Black Widow is simply amazing. This is a benchmark to stronger benchmark type ball that can be used on a variety of lane conditions and it has the most shape down lane for me for a solid ball I’ve ever had. Most stronger solids burn up on me on medium oil and I can only throw them on heavy volume. The Widow 3.0 retains energy and shape even if it’s not sport pattern kind of volumes. I went 65 x 4 x 20 which is one of my common layouts for that shape and it is the first ball out of my bag right now every time out. https://youtube.com/shorts/nMoUPpZntZs?si=xaIMLQ9G5lcREsEP

The Brunswick Ultimate Defender has nice roll shape & continuation. You want to avoid getting too deep on the lane. If you have to get to 4th or 5th arrow, I think there are better options for getting up the hill and kicking corners. The dull surface picks up in the oil nicely. Keep your angles in front of you and this ball will shine.

What a surprise the Brunswick Endeavor is. Activator plus 3.0 pearl WITHOUT HK 22 with the Tiered Hexagon core gives you the perfect ball to use when your Ethos is a little too strong. The motion is super clean ball with a strong motion on the back.

So, this ball is being advertised as Skid/Flip, but I'm not really seeing that. I'm seeing a shiny ball that picks up early (it does have a quick response formula, QR11) but has energy down lane for good hitting power. The shape reminds me of the GB4 Pearl, just reading a bit sooner and a little more hit. Something about this "tiered hexagon" core just gives this ball a lot of sustained energy. The colors look great going down the lane also, the Silver and Sky Blue are a great combo.

As much as I was a fan of the original, the new Archetype Hybrid has opened up more of the lane for me to use. The angles I was able to get through the middle of the lane without losing energy all the way through the back of the pins was an eye opener. I believed this core was meant to be in a shiny cover ball. I had played with the surface of my OG Archetype and now having this at my fingertips is exactly what I had been looking for.

Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
