This cornice is beautiful! The stain is a rich brown color, just like I ordered. I am very happy with this cornice and the delivery time was very reasonable. I wish I had ordered in the 7-8 inch size to make the ceiling look higher but that's on me. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend Blinds on Line to a friend.

I purchased the wood cornice for my bathroom window. I wanted it painted white. It arrived in good time & looked exactly as I wanted. It is the exact measurement that I requested. I was very impressed by the way it was packaged, quite protected to make its transport to me. A very nice well made wood cornice. Looks as it does in photo on website.

The cornices took longer than expected, but they were as expected and measured correctly. There was no hardware included with my order even though the "quality control" sheet was checked that there was hardware in the box.

I was working alone so I found it best to hold the cornice in place by using a tiny screw at the top and middle of the cornice and attaching it to the window molding. This way the cornice will not fall while you screw in the ends.

The stained cornice is very cheap looking. The stain job is poor quality with lighter marks and even some white spots on the wood. I know very well what stain looks like on natural grain. The variations in the stain are not due to that. And the whole piece is glued together. For close to $200, I deserve better. I would like to have a stain kit from the manufacturer to touch up the marks.

Fine quality; quite formal, in fact. Amazingly well packed; arrived in perfect condition. Measuring instructions said to add 4" to the window measurement, which would extend an inch on either end. If I had it to do over, I would add only 2 or 3 inches. Otherwise, perfect.

Samples and videos on how to measure and how to install were really helpful. However, if I had it to do over, I would not add a full 4" to the measurement, probably only 2 or 3 inches.
