I covered the windows with black plastic bags, cardboard, blankets and all sorts of blackout curtains, liners, shades and blinds without much success. Because I was convinced that lots of other people must also be struggling with the same problem, I set out to invent an affordable, easy to use room darkening window treatment.

Thanks! A little tricky to install under our existing blackout shades but we definitely needed these to block out the light along the edges where our shades and curtains weren't cutting it!

I used the large size to cut into two pieces to cover a window with two sides/panes in my child's room. It was easy to cut to size and makes the room very dark. I also added a small piece of Velcro on the outside so that I can roll up the shades during the day. It looks much better than the black trash bags we had taped up before and nice that they can be removed or rolled up easily!

I purchased the white/white large panels. They were extremely easy to prepare for installation. After installation, it is easy to put them on the window and take them off. They fold up nicely. The velcro keeps them secure when they are on the window. Provides blackout coverage. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I think the value is worth the money spent.
