I purchased this product about 10 months ago. It worked great for a while, and I noticed water around the base of the toilet. After having a licensed plumber come out to our house, he confirmed that the problem is a faulty clamp on a hose that is in an area that is impossible to reach unless you have miniature hands. Not only do I have a bidet/toilet I cannot use right now, but I have floor damage. When I asked the company to replace the faulty product, I was met with them wanting to send me a hose and a clamp and have me replace it. I am not a licensed plumber and I should not have to correct faulty parts. This company does not have a customer service number where you can call and speak to an actual human being and they refuse to call you if you ask. They simply respond to chats. This is not what I call standing behind an expensive product.

This system is still relatively new to me, so I can’t give it an automatic 5-star rating. Incidentally, I do like it. I liked the BM-1000 a bit better because it was easy to clean the nozzle and had a few other capabilities I enjoyed. The BM-1000 panel is also more sleek and is easier to the eye, being that it’s white and blends in with the system, while the BM-2000 is blue and stands out more. However, I was used to that older system. This one (the BM-2000) does have a way to clean the nozzle, but you have to read the manual to figure out how. Plus, it has a blue LED light that’s truly awesome. This was a great buy.

Bidet works great however lid broke right at hinge and other side cracked so concerned about design flaw. Support reached out by email for same information I sent previously (photos snd receipt) and now waiting on response for lid replacement.

Controls are intuitive and simple. There is a knob on the right side to control rinse direction, water flow and to turn on/off the dryer. If you rotate the knob clockwise the rinse will be set to the front, the opposite to the back. You can control the water flow just by rotating the knob. To turn on/off the dryer just push the knob. Also, the dryer automatically turns off when you get up. There are 2 buttons on the left side to control the temperature for the seat and the water/dryer. You can also turn on/off the lights using these buttons.Assembly took around 50 mins. I tried first following the quick start guide it came with the bidet, but it had the wrong setting for the T valve installation. After a while, I realized that the T valve should be connected to the toilet inlet (***) instead of the water valve. The rest was easy. Knowing that beforehand it would have made the installation a breeze.FYI: There is an annoying beep every time you sit down and stand up. You can turn it off by pressing for a few seconds the seat button on the left, 2 beeps means off, 1 beep on.Overall, I'm really happy with this bidet.

I have tried everything and also contacted Bidetmate about the seat not staying heated at all times. I have seat heat setting on Red and according to directions, the energy savings has to be yellow for seat to be heated at all times. This does not work and then Bidetmate said the manual was wrong and the energy savings should be green. I then tried this and it still does not stay heated at all times. I have the 1000 series with remote and would appreciate hearing from anyone else that could give me a better direction of how they might have theirs set up.

Bidets are an extremely important feature of my house and over the past several years of trying different brands and styles, I know exactly what I want in a bidet. We just moved to a new house so instead of removing all the bidets at my old home we decided to get all new for our all new house.I used to have a Coway and a Lux. Both were a much higher pricepoint than this but this claimed to have all the same features except this does not have a remote.This installed super easy but we've put them in before so we already knew how to do it but if you've never installed a bidet before I can tell you it's pretty easy and the instructions are fairly simple that come in the box.My personal top things I want in a bidet are fairly straightforward and this ticks most of the boxes:1.) It has a heated seat2.) Puts out great water pressure that you control by twisting the knob.3.) It has instant heat for the water and does not require a separate hot water connection.4.) It has a quiet but efficient dryer.Its not perfect though and here are my complaints:1.) It does not come with an instruction manual or even a quick reference card on how to operate the multi-functional single knob and single button. They give you a QR code to go online and download the manual, which is annoying. I mean, am I supposed to have the QR code framed next to the toilet for other people besides me to use their phones to download the manual on how to use this thing?2.) Changing simple things like temperature or having the heated seat on or off require a somewhat complicated series of presses on the single button while listing for patterns of Morse code-like beeps. There is nothing visual to let you know you beeped to the right setting.3.) The knob points out to the side and not face up and sits at the back of the seat, so you basically have to know what you want and how to make it do it as you reach behind your hip to twist the knob and/or push the button blindly.4.) The biggest offender is it beeps LOUD. Unnecessarily loud. It BEEEEEEEEEPS when you sit, followed by another loud BEEEEEEEEEP when you stand up, even if you don't use the bidet. It doesn't do anything else like pre-fill water to start heating it, so these BEEEEEEEEPS are utterly unnecessary. Like, why? Why does it have such a loud, ear piercing, wake-the-entire-house-in-the-middle-of-the-night-as-the-bidet-alerts-everyone-you-sat-to-pee-then-alerts-everyone-you-are-done-peeing?All in all this is a good lower cost bidet that is a solid 4 stars with the features it has like the water heater and dryer, but this would be infinitely better with a remote and a simple cardboard instruction included in the box.

This seat has a lot of functions but I find them far from intuitive. The instructions in the box for install and use are not particularly helpful, you have to download the online manual and it's still difficult to figure out the controls. I couldn't get the annoying beep to stop when I sit or get up but finally figured out by playing with it that the beep can be shut off by the water knob center button you push in. I liked it better once that annoyance was silenced but there were other control challenges. The other two control buttons are on the other side at the back but I can't see them because they are so close to the wall, I just have to work them by braille which is a pain, the controls should be were you can at least see the icons on them so you know what they control. It does an ok job cleaning but it could use more pressure and a wider spray pattern like my old hand held unit, which I almost prefer. The heated seat function is nice in the winter but I turned it off because it stays on all the time. I love the lighted toilet bowl setting, makes a great night light too, that was by far my favorite feature on this. It also has a drying setting that blows you dry if you are patient enough to wait that long, I'm not. It's a comfortable seat, the water levers takes a minute to come on fully while it first cleans itself before engaging the spray. It has a male and female spray but I really don't notice much difference. The set up was a bit fussy, it was hard to tell which direction the mounting plate goes on, we had it backwards. It would be helpful if the bracket said the word tank on the back side, the diagram was not very helpful but the template that goes on the seat worked very well for proper placement. The hose was also an issue, it didn't fit the one piece toilet we bought, we had to get a different hose and chose one with a separate shut off valve, handy if you have a leak down the road. The lid is a super slow soft close and silent but if you can't figure out how to shut off the annoying beep when you sit or stand you'll still wake up your partner during the night, that should be completely eliminated I hate the beeping. It's a fairly complicated seat, more thought then I care to give a toilet venture. Is it worth the high price? That's debatable, I find I'm personally not using most of the functions, so in my case, probably not, I honestly still prefer my hand held sprayer but this seat looks nice and it's comfortable and I really like the light in the bowl. Not sure I would recommend it.
