This battery replacement has a different shaped stem than our original Dyson V8. After consultation with customer service they advised carefully wiggling it in and it finally connected and charged. Thanks

I would have chosen the one with great amh but I was afraid it might be too heavy for my wife, who is the primary user. She is very frail so when I read about the bigger battery may not fit the wall charger, i was afraid it might be significantly heavier. I could not find any weight specs so opted for the standard.

Was about to literally throw my several hundred dollar Dyson away. Their replacement batteries were out of stock and also very expensive. Then I happened to find this one. Ordered two and it works perfectly. Also ordered two more for Christmas gifts for my kids who also have the Dysons and again were ready to throw them out after less than 5 years because the batteries all died. Great product.
