Hit a brick wall and became frustrated

(received as gift so I don't know what it costs)

Lesson should get check in module if fast video done instead of slow.

Josh's positive attitude, communication skills,and bass playing skills is why I bought the course.

I found the entire bassbuzz learning experience to be fun and well paced. I seem to be automatically learning to play the bass as I go through the course. I am only less than half way through the course and am very curious how much better I will get by the end.

I LOVE this lesson plan! It is super easy and I have noticed that he introduces a concept at exactly the right time. I have played other instruments in the past, but not a bass. So, early on I was thinking, "I wish I knew..." The very next lesson would have the thing I wanted to know about!

Joined Bassbuzz back in April this year (2018) hopping to start playing the bass again, after putting it down back in the 70's.
So far not had a lot of time to make a new start but all of the books have arrived and are of great quality, it's nice to receive the catch-up email from time to time just to remined me there's others out there doing the same thing. When the time is right I will make a start (can't wait) probably will be the winter..

It has been awesome still having fun going through the program.

The course is absolutely fantastic. It's just my own ability to stick at it that's the problem. For anyone with an attention span of more than 5 seconds, this course is perfect and very well taught. I learnt a lot in the time I was doing it.

I found Bass Buzz purely by chance when I was researching the Bass Guitar. I read the site information and watched the videos several times before making a decision. What really got me to thinking was the human guinea pig, Dan. It really got me to thinking about my musical theory knowledge and ability (which was zero) and thought that, yah, if Dan was in the same boat that I am then maybe I could do it. That was after two weeks of cruising over the website. So I committed and jumped in with both feet! I am so glad that I did. The lessons are short, slow and easy and fun! I'm only of Module 4 which is about 1/4 through the program but so far it is going just perfect! Josh is a great teacher and says something because I am a teacher of 18 years. Good job Josh! Thanks so much for developing this great program.

I have stalled out. I am very satisfied with the service and instruction. I have hit a block and can't seem to get past it.

This is hands down the best lessons I've ever tried to learn! I wish you would make a how to play guitar course! Josh is the best teacher!

I went from never having played bass to jamming with other people in 3 months! Not only that, but I also led our group of (very new) musicians when it came to figuring out songs, tempos, key signatures, etc. So much fun to learn with Josh.

I can't recommend this course enough. I am a complete beginner in that I knew nothing about music and even less about the bass guitar when I started. These are the most outstanding aspects of the course written in the order in which I noticed them: (1) the song selection! (Josh has curated a fantastic history of bass lines each chosen to perfectly illustrate the concept of the lesson), (2) the layered framework of concepts (concepts are introduced in their most basic form and then repeated, each time the concept comes up with a bit more detail so you are learning through repetition but are still interested because of the fresh material), (3) the flexibility of the online experience (go at your own speed), (4) Josh is clear, knowledgeable, humble, helpful, funny, and lacks a stress-inducing bone in his body (so far, I am halfway through the course). (5) You can ask him questions and get them answered in a day or two. You can chat with other people taking the course, or who took the course, and also other musicians and teachers who log into the forum. This course is well worth the money for these and many other reasons.
