I wanted to learn bass after hearing Victor Wooten & Charles Berthoud. I did not know that a bass could be so dynamic.
The lessons are well structured and Josh is a good teacher. Being able to just pick it up and having some basics down to just play is a good feeling. If there is anyone looking to learn bass, I would say this is where you should start.

I am very satisfied with BassBuzz and Josh Fossgreen. He is a fantastic teacher and very patient. He also has a great sense of humor.
The course offers you the opportunity to learn to read music if you want to, or just read tabs. You can learn the geekiest, most obscure (to me) musical theory in a fun-filled way, or skip over it if it doesn't interest you. Regardless, you will become a good, or better, or great bass player.
A large amount of music is supplied with the program in several different formats. I requested songs in a form that could be printed, in addition to the Noteflight format (which scrolls through the music and plays it through the speaker of your phone or computer and is highly configurable) and low and behold, the option I wanted was available.
I have only needed customer assistance a few times, and the response was quick and sometimes Josh answered my questions.
The forums offer answers and advice on equipment and technique and offer praise and encouragement. You are really encouraged to finish the program. I'm amazed at how much I have learned and the skills I'm developing after completing just 2/3 of the course.
I love that new features are added to the program and that the course is so affordable.
I'm so glad that I came across this program. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me and my playing.

It's great, I've learned a lot. I think the theory could be dumbed down a bit better/more. I've tried the diatonic one several times and I'm not "getting" it. I'm fairly intelligent but sometimes I need it explained from several angles? Say it a different way.

The lessons are very easy to access and are helping me feel success very quickly. My only problem is I forget to log in and do my lessons and I let too much time pass between each session. But that's on me! The program itself is marvelous.

I feel I have made great progress and gone further than I ever did while trying to learn from books and random youtube videos. That said, I have found myself despondent at times as I wonder where this will take me and what comes next, which is not a fault of Bassbuzz it is a personal thing.

After finding and following random youtube lessons by Bassbuzz I decided it would be better to follow a path from start to finish. Bass buzz feels well created and certainly makes the fundamentals easy to follow and I really have made progress

I tried a few guitar teachers and couldn't find one who was willing to teach me from the ground up. I had played guitar for years but I wanted to start Bass from the beginning so this has been the perfect tool for me. Josh is a great teacher, I can take it at my own pace and it's way more cost effective than weekly lessons. I couldn't be happier.

I had been learning bass for a year and have limited music reading experience so I found the first hsalf quite easy but still useful and i did every exercise. Then it suddenly became more challenging and I have had to work through the exercises more slowly. I have found the whole experience fun and kept me interested enough to stick to it.

Exceptional value for money. I cannot believe how much content is available for the price. If I had taken the course before paying, I would have assumed it was more than 10x the purchase price. I had played guitar for 20 years before picking up the bass. I had also practiced the bass via Youtube videos for 6 months before purchasing this course, and honestly, I wasn't sure how much additional knowledge I was going to learn. Well, how wrong was I! I learned a game changing piece of advice in regards to my plucking in about lesson 2. That in itself would have been worth the purchase price. Thanks so much Josh.

Wonderful, easy to follow course. Challenging enough to keep you motivated, but not discouraging. After half of the course finished I can see great improvements not only in technique, but music theory as well.

Love this course, going through it again after completion. I wish it was longer or Josh would maybe do another course going into intermediate and beyond. I would purchase more courses from BassBuzz if there were any, Josh is a really great teacher!

excellent overall experience! attempting to learning an instrument for the first time in your mid-fifties is difficult enough, Josh's teaching style, knowledge and sense of humour has made it less difficult for me. I am currently on module 12 the second time through the course. I would encourage anyone to go through the course multiple times as I feel as though I have picked up so much more the second time around. A Great Big Thank You to Josh and the entire Bass Buzz Team. For the most part we only see Josh, but I am certain there is a great team making this happen, so once again thank you to everyone at Bass Buzz and I will be keeping my eye out for hopefully a part 2. Enough writing, I have to go practice!
