About this CompanyOur company was founded on a few basic principles. First, was our love for the back country and the desire to access these remote areas with minimal disturbance to wildlife and their habitat through quiet and non-pollutant means.
Second, was to design and build the most durable and efficient, yet affordable, electric bikes on the market. Our goal wasn’t to create a mountain bike conversion kit by simply adding a motor to a bicycle frame that wasn’t designed and intended to operate with one. Instead, we designed the bike around the motor and the drive train with the necessary framework and durability needed to withstand the abuse and demands placed on it, and then included a comprehensive warranty to stand behind it.
Third, Bakcou was built by sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts for those that want the same thing we do, which is to climb higher, go farther and explore more without adding more stress to the environment. Come join us, get out and enjoy the back country like you’ve never done before!

It’s impossible to install correctly this front fender. Once I thought it would hold, I went for my first ride and lost it somewhere while I was riding. Poor.

I'm not one to write reviews but I feel like I need to with this one, hoping bakcou reads this to better this trailer for future customers. For starters this trailer was a package deal I got with my Mule I purchased from my local dealer. I'm a stickler for my equipment being quiet in the woods and I guarantee a deer will hear you coming a mile away with this thing! For starters I don't like the metal mesh I would like to see it being a canvas material like other brands. All the bolts out of the box were loose nothing was tight,there's no nylon washers in between the folding parts leaving metal on metal. I like the idea of the pins to easily fold the cart but there's to much play in the holes and that's where most of the rattling is coming from. The arm that connects to the bike as well as the section that holds the spring I feel could be way better, same thing there's just to much play but the whole trailer just seems cheaply put together. I do like the size of the tires for ground clearance. Overall there's room for alot of improvement but the way it is right now I just don't see how you can sell it for this price. It's unfortunate because I love my bike just wish I could say the same for the folding deer cart.

Purchased a Storm and took it scouting in hilly terrain. The ebike has a comfortable ride with the added rear suspension. Every accessory in fact, from the motor to brakes to pedals, shocks and tires are of the highest quality. In very hilly terrain this ebike climbed every one. It’s torque is amazing and is never jumpy. I did believe I that the battery life than I was expecting in terms of distance, but Bakcou customer service asked me to send the suspect back and they would immediately ship out a new battery. The Bakcou Storm is a beast of an ebike.

Little bit of difficulty re-routing the front brake cable in order to install front basket and have enough turning distance with handlebar. I swapped position of throttle with front brake lever in order to get additional length to turn right safely.

Very sturdy cargo trailer. The axle extensions are a bonus to have if you are side hilling a load. Packaged very well from Bakcou.

I ordered a Quietkat and after 2 months of waiting and no bike I cancelled my order and went with the Bakcou Mule. A big game changer for me in accessing my property quicker and quieter. Since then I also purchased the Storm and Mule ST 24 for my wife which she absolutely loves. Looking forward to more Bakcou products in the future.
