We have been buying bacon from Bacon Freak for a few years now. It started as a Christmas present for my husband and then we continued to purchase it for ourselves or as gifts for friends and family. The Boss Hog is one of our favorites. It has a deeply smoky flavor and cooks up crisply. So delicious!

Bacon Freak is the only place I can find slab bacon, unsliced. The flavor is amazing. Meaty, smokey, and perfectly salted. Ordered tow packages and one arrived with a broken vacuum which was my excuse to cook it and eat it immediately. The dry cure is awesome. Not sure what to do with the packing material. The cold packs and the insulated bags and cold packs are great for picnics, transporting perishable foods that need to stay cold. One can only use so many cold packs and bags.

Noticed the next day after order placed street number was wrong. Completely my fault. Emailed and called Bacon Freak. Remarkably they called then emailed in a short amount of time. This was during crazy Christmas time! Told them I did not need product by Christmas. I would use email as the gift. To my complete surprise I had the box in 3 days! Bacon is tasty. Bacon is not smoked in the rub. It is seasoned with the rub. Husband was very happy with subscription.
