Purchased this as a back up rod and starter kit for my girlfriend to get into fly fishing with me. Pretty impressive little package for the price. Rod feels great, reel is nothing fancy but it doesn't have to be for the 6 to 14 inch trout we routinely see. Worth the money for someone on a budget or just starting out.

To be honest, I haven’t used it yet. I’m new to fly fishing and this is my first combo that was highly recommend by a fly fishing friend, but as far as Aventuron goes, I got my orders in a timely manner, Scott thanks us for our orders with a little note (I like personal things like that.) Some stuff was back ordered and I got that all just fine. I saw a lot of great sales on their family owned website and I have been and will be recommending Aventuron to all my adventure friends!
